This sweet little metal box used to contain some kind of candied fruit called "Gelypear". The ingredients listed are pears, apples & colored sugar. There is an adorable picture of a boy on the top & the sides are decorated with crests & griffins. In good condition with only minor areas of wear & a small spot of rust inside one corner. This pair of Matl Salas (after 1978) clip earrings are repousse that is magnificently carved. They are birds in flight with an enviable presence. These are difficult to obtain in this large size, no damage and the clips are nice and tight. The height is 1 3/8th in. and they are 2.25in. across.
