This kind of Mask is sculpted with minimal work taking advantage of natural deformations. The natural material would be tree roots, at least that is the information provided by the sellers. Some of these masks would however be old and used as burlesque masks during the various festivals. Delightful Hermes ring/trinket dish from the Art de la Table line. The dish features an Elephant balancing on a ball, a wide gold band and a thin blue band circle the rim of the dish. Wonderful champagne ice bucket, or "seau" circa 1950's/60's, from France. To advertise their product, champagne houses would give these buckets to restaurants as a point of sale item, they were not sold. This bucket was never circulated - it is NOS (new old stock). Marked "Montebello" in enamel, "Champange" & "Chateau de Mareuil s/Ay." Nice grape detail below the handles. Chrome over brass; measures 8" tall 7-3/4" across.
19th century sterling creamer and sugar by Dominick and Haff, established in 1872,and considered one of the finer American silver companies.
The creamer measures just a tad under 6" wide to the ends of the handles, and it is 2 1/4" high to top of handle.
Both have a heavy border or scrolled designs, and ornate handles.
The interiors retain some of the original gilding.

Hester Bateman - pair of table spoons in Old English pattern. London, 1788-1789, sterling silver. Length: 8 1/8 inches. This pair of silver serving spoons was made by England's most famous female silversmith, Hester Bateman. The egg shaped bowls are in excellent condition, with no dents, repairs or wear. Measuring 12 1/2", and finely cast in bronze, this figure represents a Faun or Satyr, one of the followers of Pan, and the original was discovered in the ruins of Pompeii in 1830.
With good detail, and true to the original statue, this one has a dark patina, with verdigris visible around the head primarily, and some wear to the patina on the body.
Of nineteenth century original, and most likely a Grand Tour souvenir.
Georgian physician's blood letting set including a silver mounted green shagreen case with hinged top, complete with its four original thumb lancets, each with a triangular steel blade housed in hinged tortoiseshell protective guards. This 8-1/4" diameter unsigned bell was from a Great Lakes ship or boat (possibly a ferry) and it retains its original eye and rod clapper with a loop for a rope pull.
