Very finely modeled in blanc de chine porcelain, this figure depicts a fish seller, seated next to his basket of fresh fish. Measuring 10" high x 8 1/2" wide, with a stamped mark of Sandizell, Hoffner & Co, Dresden, West Germany, it dates to the 1960's and is also signed in script, S. Matt, which is probably the artist.
