3 vintage 1940's sterling silver bracelets designed and signed by Taxco, Mexico artist Hector Aguilar (1905-86). Each bracelet measures 2 1/2" in diameter. The matching pair each measure 1/8" wide. The third bangle is 1/4" wide. All hallmarked HA TAXCO. Two are marked 990. The third marked 940. The combined weight of the 3 is 63 grams, 2.02 oz. From a private collection, a fabulous sterling and tortoise belt buckle by William Stratling. It measures 3" by 1 3/4" and weighs 43 grams. It is in beautiful original condition. A belt buckle with this same silver and tortoise combination is featured on page 56 of the book MEXICAN SILVER by Morrill and Berk. Appropriately signed with the last Spratling mark and the eagle 30. An important and exquisite piece for the Spratling collector.

Mid-century sterling and pearl bracelet by Antonio Pineda. The center pearls are a surprise traditional additional to the modernist link design. What an interesting contrast in this not often seen Antonio bracelet. It measures 6 3/4" around in the inside and is just a hair over 1/2" wide. A terrific abstract mid-century modern sterling bracelet by Taxco silversmith Sigi Pineda. It is hinged in the back and pulls open in the front at the horizontal lines, most ingenious! The bezel set aventurine stone is a nice touch. These are the kind of designs for which Sigi is most celebrated. The bracelet is 6 3/4" around in the inside and 1 1/8" wide at the front.It weighs 60 grams.Signed for vintage Sigi Pineda as shown. A really special bracelet from this great designer.

The Leaves' veins are chased, has large bail, and measures 2.5" X 1.25" wide. Looks more like 950 silver than 925. Weighs: .6 Oz or 17 Grams. The marks are so faint and impossible to macro cam pix them yet a faint 'Mexico' at center with initials/letters/#s above and below that can be seen with a loupe

Fabulous, rare, Antonio Pineda sterling and amethyst cuff bracelet. Incredible mid-century modern design and very unique construction with the middle row of amethysts hinged at each end and the entire row able to move up and down. This is a massive and bold piece measuring 1 1/2" wide in the front, tapering to 3/4" at the ends in the back. It is 5 1/4" in the inside with a 1 1/4" opening so for a 6 1/2" wrist. An exquisite sterling and moonstone bracelet by Taxco silversmith Antonio Pineda. A have never seen this Antonio design before and believe it to be quite rare. There are moonstones bezel set within each of the 10 links of the bracelet. This bracelet is solid at 84 grams and measures 6 3/4" around in the inside when clasped. It is 3/4" wide. Beautiful original condition and appropriately hallmarked for Antonio Pineda as shown. A great addition to any Mexican Silver collection.
