This is a spectacular sterling and enamel necklace, bracelet and matching screwback earrings set by Margot De Taxco. The colors are beautiful and the design outstanding. The necklace measures 15" end to end and is 7/8" wide at the center section. The bracelet measures 6 1/2" end to end and is 1 1/4" wide. The earrings hang 1 5/8" long. There is no missing enamel and all pieces have the Margot hallmarks and numbers. An absolutely outstanding and important Margot enamel parure.

Hand crafted in sterling silver, this vintage articulated keepsake or pill box was designed and & signed c. 1950's by William Spratling. Measuring 6 1/4" x 2" the fish weighs 90 grams. This Matilde Poulat Mexico City folkloric bracelet in the Moth design has the early 30's mark of 930. Her taller Matl produced her heaviest silver work in it's beginnings. The bracelet is repousse and 7in. long. It is large measuring 1.75 in. tall. There are lines and matrix in the turquoise but no cracks or chips. A striking and fascinating Art Moderne 970 silver pin by Antonio Pineda. The shapes and placement of the stones are intriguing. The black stripe of onyx is inlaid but the half sphere of onyx and the rectangular agate are set above the surface adding dimension. Signed with an old hallmark of Matilde Poulat's Matl the repousse is in full regalia. Very well done with fine carving leaving a true feeling of the feathered bird. This is the larger sized version being 4 1/8thin. tall and 2.25in. wide. The weight is 36.5 grams heavy. This is a must have for the Matl collector and this one is an excellent example with the larger, full tail of 3 rings. No damage or flaws, just superb.

Inspired by the Mexican wildlife surrounding him this piece is a gorgeous example of a Spratling interpretation in silver. With obsidian eyes the sculptural & detailed hummingbird measures 3 1/4" X 2 1/8". Wearable length is 17" including tube & bead necklace. Professionally restrung as the original twine was very frayed. Fully hallmarked in the mid 1950's this necklace also carries tiny European sterling & export marks.
