Stunningly beautiful, this rare vintage sterling silver and amethyst necklace was designed and signed circa 1943-48 by Taxco, Mexico silver Maestro Hector Aguilar. The necklace is 1 inch wide and measures 14 1/2 wearable inches long. 186 grams, 6.06oz. A superb modernist design 970 silver belt buckle by Antonio Pineda. Sleek and sophisticated, there is a slight gold wash on the triangular shaped center piece and a line and dot of black enamel. It measures 2 1/8" by 1 1/8" at the widest part. The weight is 33 grams and it is signed for Antonio Pineda as shown. Very 1950's and very wonderful.
