This elegant, jewel encrusted hand mirror was designed c. 1950's by Mexico City aritist Matilde Poulat. The mirror measures 6" x 3". The outer edge of the glass is beveled. We are offering a Fred Davis Shield and obsidian mask necklace with a length of 17.5in. The mask is 1.5in. by 1.5in. The lovely thing about this necklace is it's size. You can wear everyday and with anything as it is not huge like many of it's kind. Correctly hallmarked with FD and no damage to stone or silver. The weight is 50 grams and it is thick silver sheet. In the early 1940's Spratling designed this sterling silver and enamel pin to raise money for the Mexican Red Cross. It measures 1" across. Guest curator Penny Morrill included this design in the museum exhibit WILLIAM SPRATLING AND THE MEXICAN SILVER RENAISSANCE. It's pictured on p. 36 of her book that accompanied the exhibition. The pin is also pictured on Phyllis Goddard's spratlingsilver.com where she explains that this is the only known example of Spratling enameling...

A flying birds sterling silver marcasites lavaliere necklace from the 1930s. This Victorian revival beauty is 16-1/2" long and the scroll chain has a pearl strand style clasp with marcasites. Circa 1940-1945, here is a supremely rare and spectacular necklace produced by Los Castillo in 980 silver.

It's entirely hand-wrought, composed of forty-five repoussé silver "wings". Killer gorgeous, lays beautifully.

Measures 26 1/2", with a 1 3/8" width.

Weight is 202.2 grams of almost pure silver.

Signed and hallmarked "Los Castillo Taxco 980 Made in Mexico", with the design # 187.

Circa mid-century, these cufflinks were produced by Antonio Pineda. They have a superb modernist design, with diamond shaped faceted onyx stones on each end. Four stones in total. These are elegant and classy, and a seldom seen design.

Each cufflink measures approximately 7/8" x 3/4".

Weight is 24.4 grams.

Signed and hallmarked with the Antonio Taxco crown and 970 on each.

Gorgeous Mediterranean coral stones in this sterling ring by Arizona Modernist H. Fred Skaggs. A unique look with the 4 stones being graduated in size. Currently a size 5, the ring has been previously professionally sized in the back. The face of the ring measures 1 1/4" across and the largest stone is 5/8" long.
