Outstanding sterling silver belt buckle designed and signed in the 1940's by Taxco, Mexico designer William Spratling (1900-67). Weighing a hefty 41 grams the buckle measures 2" X 2" and will accommodate a 1 5/8" strap. Beautiful condition and patina. No dents or dings. Fully hallmarked on the reverse. A sterling bird Southwest poison ring with turquoise eyes from the 1930s. This unusual and vividly depicted ring is in the form of a bird or owl's head; it has two turquoise cabochon eyes, one green and one blue. We have a William Spratling bracelet one inch tall with thick tubes of silver wrapping around in three tiered sections. There are amethyst stones the shape of teats all around the bracelet. All are original to the bracelet with no cracks or chips. No dents to the silver as well. The bracelet will fit a small wrist and not over 6 inches. I have never seen this design in a larger size. Properly hallmarked as shown with a very dark and natural patina. A rare treasure.
