This is the best Los Ballesteros bracelet ever. Wonderful 1 1/2" wide sterling hinged bangle with black enamel polka dots strategically placed all around the bracelet. The back is as interesting as the front. It measures 7 1/4" around in the inside and weighs a solid 119 grams. Tight push in clasp and fine original condition. Signed for Los Ballesteros as shown. A gorgeous, gorgeous, early Mexican silver bracelet with green agates. This is a Los Castillo design but only signed Sterling Mexico. Early Mexican silver bracelet with 5 beautiful green agate cabachon stones. This is a Fred Davis design but this bracelet is only marked Silver Mexico. It measures 8" end to end and is 1"wide. Fine original condition and weighs 67 grams. Lots of movement to this piece and gorgeous on.

A great sterling bracelet by studio artist Frank Rebajes. We see many of his pieces in copper but few in sterling and this bracelet is terrific. There are 7 diamond shaped pieces that are on hinges and move sitting in a backround of oxidation. The last partial shaped diamond is the clasp. Measures 7" long and 7/8" wide, it is in excellent original condition. Weighs 47 grams and is signed REBAJES sterling. A great mid-century modern bracelet by this important designer.

Extra Vintage and some would say much like the work of Doris Cliff, yet others have said more like Oakes or Hale? The last two, after all were medalists winners at Boston's Society of Arts & Crafts established in 1887.

Tane is a noted silver company in Mexico City featuring jewelry and "Art Objects" with a strong emphasis on quality. Tiffany & Co. assisted Tane in the 1960's and 70's to expand. This beautiful necklace and earrings set is sterling square links joined together by a straight gold washed link. The necklace measures 16 1/2" end to end, is 1/2" wide and weighs 118 grams. The earrings are clip back and measure 5/8" long and 5/8" wide. They weigh 13 grams and hold securely and comfortably on the ears...

The Heintz Art Metal Shop of Buffalo, New York made jewelry and decorative objects of patinated bronze with sterling overlay in cut out patterns. They were in business from 1906-1929 and although they did not sign their jewelry, their style is so distinctive it can easily be identified. This 2 1/4" by 1 1/4" pin is a fine example of the jewelry from this shop. It is in beautiful original condition and a wonderful piece of Arts & Crafts period jewelry.

This is the ARMADILLO CUFF, designed by Valentin Vidaurreta and made by Manuel Altamirano. It dates c. 1945-50 and is featured in the book MEXICAN SILVER by Morrill and Berk. The rounded shaped panels graduate in size measuring from 1 3/4" wide in the front to 1" at the back. It measures 5 3/4" around in the inside and has a 1 1/4" opening so it is for a 6 3/4" wrist. Wonderful sterling cross and rosary beads by Taxco silversmith Hector Aguilar. I believe this to be quite rare and it is pictured on page 153 of the book SILVER MASTERS OF MEXICO BY Penny Morrill. The cross is 2 3/4" long without the bail,3 1/8" with the bail. It is attached to the rosary beads which measure 15" when hanging on the neck. It does not have a clasp and slips over the head...

Stunning 970 silver and moonstone necklace by Taxco silversmith Antonio Pineda. It is in fine original condition and measures approximately 15" around. It is curved to sculpt the neck so a bit hard to measure. It is 1/2" wide. The moonstones are clear blue and all original and in fine condition, no chips or cracks. Secure push-in clasp, intact safety chain. Signed for Antonio Pineda as shown in the photo. Extremely beautiful.

Bold and beautiful sterling and black onyx bracelet by Los Ballesteros. I believe this is originally an Antonio Pineda design. These are V shaped links with onyx inset into the sides. Each link is hinged and moves. It is in fine original condition, no chips or cracks to the stones. It measures 8 1/4" end to end and is 1 1/2" wide. It weighs 140 grams and is signed for Los Ballesteros as shown in the photo. A fabulous looking piece.

Rare and unusual William Spratling sterling crossover ring with two conical shaped amethysts. It is a size 3 3/4 and is a magnificent pinky ring. It may have been sized at one time but I do not think so. It is in beautiful condition with no chips or cracks to the stones. It is signed with the WS mark which dates c. 1949-1967 as shown in the photo. A stunning ring.

This set is the Hector Aguilar V-chain necklace with detachable azurite pin/pendant, matching azurite earrings, and matching V-chain bracelet. The necklace is featured on page 39 of the book SILVER MASTERS OF MEXICO by Penny Morrill. It is shown with an amethyst pendant in the book. The azurite pendant on this necklace I am offering is shown on page 217 of this same book and the V-chain bracelet on page 63. These pieces are dated c.1945 and are in 940 silver. Very strong, outstanding design in this mid-century sterling pin by Taxco artist Sigi Pineda. Many design elements of shapes and overlapping planes, this three dimensional pin measures 1 3/4" by 1 7/8". It is in fine original condition and hallmarked for vintage Sigi as shown in the photo. This piece is the kind of design for which Sigi is best known.

Beautiful silver and acid etched finish barrette from the Chicago Arts & Crafts period firm Carence Crafters, c. 1910. Little is known about this shop and their work is beautiful and hard to find. This wonderful hair clip is 2 1/2" by 1/2" and is in fine original condition. It is signed with the Carence Crafters interlocking C's hallmark as shown in the photo. An unusual and rare example from this workshop.

Stunning sterling and nephrite jade ring by Taxco silversmith Antonio Pineda. An absolutely gorgeous ornate setting for the stone that sits high on the hand. The ring and stone are in fine original condition. It is a size 6 1/2. The stone measures 3/4" long and 1/2" wide. It is about 3/4" deep. Hallmarked with the Antonio crown, Taxco and some other letters or numbers I cannot decipher. Just beautiful!
