A very good sized sculpture of Pedanda, a Brahman priest of the highest caste. This is a traditional sculpture, not a piece for tourists. It's made of hard wood, very intricately carved and has a subtle polychrome. H. 51 cm. Condition: expected age wear and a few age cracks. Please refer to the detailed pictures. A finely cast bronze priest's bell with a nice patina and sound, dating to the Late Central Javanese Period. The body resembling a stupa with floral ornaments and garlands. Chinese Qing dynasty export porcelain Benjarong (five color) bowl made for the Thai market densely decorated in relief polychrome enamels around the circumference with eight alternating Buddhist celestial beings. An ornately worked, chased and engraved jug with dancing Burmese figures in repoussé. The handle in the form of an ogre. The spout might be a later addition, it is only silver plated. Base engraved "Moung Oung Myal 1875". No mark, silver tested. Condition: the ogre of the handle with a small loss, otherwise fine. Dimension: 11 cm high, weight: 382 g.

Set of three ceremonial lidded jars from the Islamic Maranao people of Mindanao in Southern Philippines. They are made of silvered copper alloy with geometric decoration in applied wire. Condition: few dents and bumps. Dimension: 23.5 cm and 29 cm high.
