Crackle porceain decorated with polychrome flower on the center, the cavetto divided into 4 panels and decorated alternately with floral sprays and trelis pattern, unglazed base. Small brush pot decorated with floral sprays, glazed base. PERIOD : Transitional (1630-1660) MEASUREMENTS: 10 cm wide, 8 cm height. CONDITION: a small chip to the inner rim, no cracks, no hairlines and free from restorations.

Description:

A root wood carving was intriguingly made to imitate a crane standing on the mountain top in stylized posture.
By two pieces of original root wood, and with minimal cuttings, a beautiful picture with traditional Chinese metaphor of Longevity was then nicely rendered.
The wood piece had yielded the fine patina on the surface in firm and sound condition when one minute old restoration was on the leg.

Cream colored satin ground with design of a peacock and a small bird amidst flowers, elaborately embroidered in Peking knot, Pekinese and satin stitch. The opening couched with silver and gold paper wrapped thread forming a bat. With a blue and white edging. The woven drawstring with beads made of rose quartz. Purple silk lining. Bottom with a paper label. Condition: silk with patina, two small little stained area, few traces of usage. Dimension: 31 cm long, opening: 5.5 cm wide.

Mate is a traditional South American infused drink prepared from steeping dried leaves of yerba mate. This traditional antique tea straw or more accurately, mate straw is called a Bombilla. Both the straw and its matching mate container were made by the Industria Mamboreta of Argentina. The mate container is a gourd decorated with a hammered silver bottom and a wide silver rim. A Junyao cup was in decent shape and was applied with charming bluish glaze.
By well shaped foot ring which revealed with brownish-tint body clay, the oval cup was incursioned on the surface with blurred and earthern-feel condition.

Description:

A decent wood stand was well structured by precious Zitan and burl wood.
Framed by a unique species of Da-Yei Zitan, and panelled with burl wood board in the center, the wood stand was reinforced in the underside with lacquered cotton cloth.
Strong and sound, the wood stand was yielded on the surface with darken patina.

Beautiful carving in the Balinese Art Deco style made of heavy tropical wood. Bearded man traditionally dressed with kris on his back, holding and feeding his gamecock. Condition: filled crack going through one foot and base. Dimension: 52.7 cm high, weight: 3'045 g.

A large panel on the front features two shishi on opposing sides of a prominent floral pattern while the back holds a smaller cartouche with a bird and flower motif...

An ivory pendant was nicely carved with exquisite patterns.
In motifs of five bats(Fu, good fortune) surrounding a archaic character-Sou(Longevity) expressing the good metaphor, and scrolling clouds on the rim as decoration, this ivory piece was believed having been hanged as a lucky charm by the noble people.
An old drilling hole was on the side for stringing...

This strand of malachite Tibetan Prayer beads has been somewhat dulled with time and use, but the color patterns of the beads are still clear and beautiful. The coral counter beads are a bit lighter color than appears in the photo. I am dating them conservatively as pre 1950 but it is possible that they actually are from the later Qing dynasty. If open up, the total length of the mala would measure 39 inches.

This jacket top was the traditional hand made costume worn by the woman of the White Collar Miao, They are one of China's tribal ethnic minority groups who live in the Dan Zhai. Jacket would have been worn for festival. It was made from indigenous plant fibers which were hand loomed, using indigo and batik dye process and detail with embroidered trim. Wonderful display and can be viewed from both the front and back

A charming white jade belt hook was exquisitely carved in dragon's head shape.
By the precious Hertien pebble quality, the jade piece was reflected with fine greasy-feel sheen on the surface.
Characteristic old jade's tissues were revealed under the reflection when some incursions were occurred to the material verifying its authenticity.

Description:
A pair of Jizhou tiger toys were excavated in original condition.
It is very hard to find genuine Jizhou wares with tortoisshell glaze.
It was unique too to find them in pairs even though they're dolls.
And most importantly they were in obvious condition for authentication.
The buried deposits were firmly left here and there on the surface.
And the glaze were partially crackled due to age.
The body clay were light brownish with soft matrix quality...

A beautiful robins’-egg-blue gu-shaped vase with ring handles and engraved decoration by Ito Tozan with the original rosewood stand dating from the early 20th century (c. 1920). The pale blue bleeds to white over the high points of the decoration, the florals raised about the bulbous center and highlighting the rim and edges of the beast head handles. Meanwhile pools of dark shadow the fretwork emanating up and down the body...
