Description: A cute tiger figure was carved from one nephrite Houtien jade pebble. By accurate characteristics on the features as a Ming piece, the crouching jade tiger was preserved with obvious iron rust on the surface.Further more, portion of the jade tissue was revealed with pale-tinted incursions within the tissues...

This is a set of traditional lacquer bowls from Thailand. There is a single gold mythical animal, balu-gwin, at the bottom of the inside and a three balu-gwin spaced around the outside. The gold rim with key design surrounds the rim of each of the 5 bowls.

In wonderful condition, each bowl is approx 5 inches wide at the rim and 2.5 inches high.

Small vase with black glaze to the footrim. Unglaze base. Song Dynasty 12th-13th centuries. Height=7.5 cm, width=7 cm. Condition : excellent, no chip, crack, hairline or restoration.

Dehua cup with unglazed firing ring on the center. Widht = 7.5 - 6.5 cm Height = 3.5 - 3 cm Qing Dynasty Condition : 2 cups in excellent condition, smallest cup has 2 tiny chips.

Decorated with large flower motif on the interior. Width = 36 cm Period : Ming Dynasty, 16th century. Condition : hairline (5 cm), no restoration

A rare white dish with flower shape rim, decorated at the interior center with 'anhua' dragon. Yuan dynasty 13th-14th century Jindezhen Shufu ware. Condition: a half nail chip associated with light hairline and it is easy to re-touch till invisible. Diameter: 19cm

Decorated with a scene depicting phoenix and chrysanthemum in the central field, and, around the cavetto, with flower and interspersed with bamboo motifs. Width = 33 cm Period : Ming Dynasty, late 16th century.. Condition : Professional restoration on small chip (hard to view)

Unsodo, founded 1887, manufactured pattern books with woodblock prints of the highest order for artisans and manufacturers of textiles, lacquer, pottery etc. Printed carefully, some with silver pigments. Condition: Good, front cover with red spot. Dimension: Page size 24,2 x 16,5 cm.

Description: A lovely Jun tea bowl was molded in an elm bowl’s shape. With a slightly inverted rim, the bowl stands by its small circular foot ring which was unglazed. In an attractive purple splash at the cavetto, the bowl was applied on the surface with the blue sky glaze. Cracks and minute bubbles were spread under the glaze. Some deposits were left at the center of the foot ring. Date: Jin Dynasty(11th-12th Century), Width: 9.8cm.

A rare and lovely miniature b/w jar, decorated to the body with three friends of winter, these are the pine, bamboo and prunus. Ming dynasty 15th century excavated on South Sulawesi. Generally speaking this kind of Ming b/w small jar specimen is more rare to found than the others such like Yuan or late-middle Ming type. Condition is perfect except tiny flake to glaze, soft paste body. High: 5.3cm and Wide maximum: 5.7cm.

A rare 19th or early 20th century Malayan kris with an attractive pamir/pamor steel blade. The hilt has a (probably replacement) metal collar and a finely carved Garuda head in "kingfisher" form. The wood scabbard is decorated with engraved Straits Chinese style white metal bands depicting Buddhist emblems. There are old losses to the 'flared' top of the scabbard and the left 'ear' of the Garuda head is missing. Unusually there is no damage to the 'nose'. The old blade is in very good condition...

A nice and quite rare globular form jar with small mouth rim, decorated with main pattern of 'ruyi' scroll to the body. Condition is perfect excepted minor glaze flaw, no chip/no crack and free from any restoration. Ming dynasty 15th century. High: 6.6cm and Body wide: 7.3cm

Description: A Lohan head was finely carved from a buff-tinted sandstone. By a downcast gazing look, the handsome Buddhist disciple was depicted neatly on the features. The slanted eyelids, the slightly bulged eyeballs, the slender and pointed nose, and the vivid and lightly closed mouth etc. all of them were rendered in a natural and vivid way...

 

A large Hare's Fur bowl, covered overall with black & russet glazed. Jin/Yuan dynasty Henan ware. Condition is perfect excepted tiny firing crack fault to the center of the base and the interior center with glaze age wear. Diameter: 18.2cm.

A celadon bowl with finely potted rounded form, decorated incised to interior with waves and center cloud, chrysanthemum blossoms to the exterior. Koryo dynasty 12th-13th century. Condition damaged like indicated on the pictures. Diameter: 11.5cm and High: 6cm.

A very rare found design of b/w bowl with vividly painted four blossoms of Indian lotus at the exterior. Interior center with leaf within double circle. Ming dynasty second half of 15th century to early 16th century, Chenghua-Hongzhi period. Condition is good with no any damaged, the main problem is warped and probably a bit polished to glaze, otherwise is really a quality drawing one was ever found in Indonesia cause near to some examples of Jindezhen official kiln piece...
