This handmade pair of Tibetan boots was typically used by the Tibetan Minority groups for centuries. Each regional Tibetan group used its own distinct colored thread design pattern. Monks and officials also could be recognized by the thread design of their boots. These were a "commoners" boot and judging by their size, they were used by a young teenager. I suspect that they were only worn once or twice and they are in wonderful condition. Heel to toe they measure 9" and stand 12" high.

A lucky jade carved in the form of a lock. The front carved with a large peony and the back carved with the words for prosperity, good luck etc. Should be worn as a good luck pendent. Size: W. 5.8cm. H. 4cm. Condition. Perfect

Two b/w miniature vase, the baluster body of octagonal section, the first one painted on four vertical facet with scroll design, the second with floral spray around the body, each attached with a pair ring handles. Flat unglazed base. Yuan dynasty (1279-1368). Both in perfect condition, no chip and no any cracks, free from restoration as well. High: 5.5 cm and 5.4 cm.

Chinese Imperial yellow porcelain censer with frogs on lid and elephant handles. The pierced lid setting on a rounded form bowl on tripod legs impressed mark Daoguang period 1821-1850. In excellent condition no damage a fine addition to any collection.

Japanese mixed metal bronze censer with gold silver and brass inlaid details of a rooster and hen with chick and a blossoming flower motif. In excellent condition no damage some slight variations in bronze patina. Measures approximately 7 inches tall or 18 cm. a fine form with tripod feet. Japanese Satsuma pottery vase with cobalt blue background and beautifully hand painted with the finest detailed images of flowering branches and nesting birds. A beautiful Chinese export porcelain famille rose medallion large center bowl circa 1900. The bowl hand painted with traditional rose medallion motif of floral and butterfly designs plus mandarin figures and court scenes. Measuring 12 inches by 4 inches deep in excellent condition one minor restored flea bite to rim and some wear to enamel. A fine example.

This is a genuine theater puppet kashira representing the character Osome. It is not a souvenir. As you can see it is quite clean, however there are three faint vertical cracks in the gofun covering, beside the nose and up the right cheek. The gofun is stable. She wears her hair in an immaculate coiffure held with one unpretentious comb and a ribbon of chirimen silk. Two silver ornaments accent the very simple and attractive figure...

A nice pair of Ching dynasty b/w dishes, decorated each in the center with birds on the peach tree within double circle. Underside with blossoms of chrysanthemum and peach. "Da Ming Cheng Hua Nien Zhe" six characters mark on the base, but Ching dynasty 18th century Yongzheng period. Condition one with hairline, the other is perfect, free from any restoration. A very Large translucent pale blue-green glass earring from Southeast Asia, probably from Vietnam or Cambodia.The glass is in the form of a thick oval hoop that tapers at the ends. There is some soil encrustation on the ends from being buried. Size: Diameter 8cm. Condition: Perfect.

Magnificent Chinese carved wood and polychrome figure of the Immortal Sage of Longevity. Finely detailed carving with painted enamel polychrome colors applied throughout probably from the first part of the 20th century. A blue & white bowl, with thinly potted and foliated lip rim, decorated with typical Kraak style motif in panels featuring bamboo scroll, bird and flowers scroll around the body. Inside the cavetto with hanging dots motif and the center with a bird within double circle. Ming dynasty 17th century, Wanli period. Condition: the bowl is damaged and split into two pieces and restored. Diameter: 14.5 cm and High: 9.5 cm.

A rare b/w stem cup, decorated outside with continuously blackberry lily scroll under key-fret border. Inside the center with lotus scroll within double circle. Yuan dynasty (1279-1368) excavated on South Sulawesi area approximately 10 years ago. Condition damaged like indicated in the pictures and glue repaired. High: 10 cm and Diameter: 10.2 cm.

A superbly b/w long neck bottle vase, with finely potted and well balance, decorated with six panels to the body featuring emblems motif, bamboo scroll, flower and peach. One hundred herbs prayer bead bracelet from the boarder town between China and Tibet. These type of prayer bead is believed to be good for curing all types of sickness. The beads are made by compressing 100 herbs into a ball. There are 18 beads in all. Age: Pre 1920. Size: inside radius 7cm. It is stringed with a new stretch string to fit all. Description: A beautiful ivory sachet was carved in open work. With archaic patterns as the ground decoration, swirling dragons were carved vividly on both sides. The sachet can be used as a pendant when the cap was removable and a perfume dipped cotton can be easily put into it. Date: Early 20th Century.
