Description:

A light tinted celadon cup was in unique octagonal shape.
Well crackled in the glaze, the cup was supported by the short stem foot from which the brownish body clay was revealed at the bottom.
It was probably being used as a wine cup or for tea drinking.
Whatsoever, it was a fine piece by all the characteristics with old condition.

Description: A Ming Longquan long-neck bottle was in decent look. When heavily potted, the bottle was inscribed on the surface with pattern of flower scrolls. Immense glaze bubbles were yielded under the celadon glaze like mist. Light incursions were caused to the mouth rim while firing red was obviously found in the body clay at the foot ring. It is a nice Longquan piece from Zhejiang province. Date: Ming Dynasty(AD1368-1644) , Height: 26cm.

A slim rectangular box of huanghuali wood with original brass hardware. Over a two-part round lock plate is a cloud-shaped hasp. The four corners on top also have cloud-shaped protective/decorative brass. Period: 17th Century Size: Height = 10.5 cm, Length = 35.2 cm, Depth = 17 cm. Condition: Some old age cracks.

Description: An ivory pumpkin was delicately carved in Ming period (15th-16th Century). Kept with charming warm patina and obvious aged ivory tissues, the toggle was in good feel when fondling in the palm. A typical Chinese curiosity for connoisseurring was rarely found these days. A Chinese B&W storage jar decorated with ladies playing a game in a garden, surrounded by children. Marked with an Artemisia leaf. Kangxi period (1662-1722). In the 19th century the silver mounts were added by an unknown Dutch silver smith. Hallmarked with the 'old sword'. This item is in a very good condition., with only a minor glaze chip to the mouth rim. H. 12 cm.

An official figure most likely as Guamdi was carved in sitting posture. Nice features depicted and well rendered robe in flouring form. A master piece in serene mood.
