The base carries the iron red seal mark of the Qianlong Emperor (1736-1795) but this item was probably made early in the 20th Century - durig the Guangxu or early Republic periods. A Chinese silk brocade fabric showing a pattern repeat of lotus flowers. Lampas weaving with aniline dyed and gold wrapped silk threads. Condition: a hole (see photo no. 8), partial thin areas and some wear. Dimension: 67 cm wide (whole length) x 165 cm long.

This small intricately carved stone shoes were probably given as a gift of well wishing. 3 inches in length, they were carved from unidentified soft stone, not hard jade. There are numerous cracks and chips from age, but the shoes retain their original carving detail.

Description: An elegant Ru-Yi was rarely made of iron. Casted in a beautiful shape and preserved very well. Dark russet paint were reserved sparsely on the surface which reflected with good old black patina. Date: 19th Century Length: 34cm

A Chinese blanc de chine barrel shaped jar and cover the flattened circular lid with twin peach finial, the curving sides of the jar decorated with bands of raised dot designs at the rim and base, the sides otherwise decorated with hawthorn blossom sprays and twin lion head bosses.

A Chinese copper red underglaze and incised dragon box and cover with two five-clawed dragons surrounding the base with lotus pods. The top with one five -clawed dragon. The base with six character Xuande mark in underglaze blue surrounded by double blue circles. The glazed on the base with a bluish tint.

A pair of Chinese porcelain rice bowls and covers. Painted in famille rose enamels with dragons among lotus scrolls above waves. The base of each bowl carries a six character Daoguang reign mark in iron red. Republic period.

Condition: Very good condition, no breaks.

A famille rose yellow ground minyao bowl with underglaze blue Daoguang sealmark and of the period. Decorated to the exterior in vibrant enamels with four exotic blossoms, including lotus, peony, hibiscus and orchid among scrolling foliage, all on a bright lemon yellow ground. The interior left blank.

Good condition, no breaks or chips (please refer to pictures)

A doucai tea bowl decorated with six groups of geometric shapes on the outside of the bowl on a white ground. The interior is similarly decorated with a single grouping. The base with a six character under-glaze blue Yongzheng mark surrounded by double blue under-glaze blue circles.

Condition: Very good condition - no breaks or cracks. Some slight wear to the enamels
