Description: A lovely pair of Cizhou Dolls were in cute image. White glazed, the molded children were riding on the grinned lions. The bigger one was in perfect condition by the height of 5.5cm. The smaller one was kept with faded glaze, and was restored at the neck when height was 4.8cm. Two of them were hanging pieces due to the drilling holes at the chignons. Produced from Jindezheng of Jiangxi province, it was an exquisite Qingbai(bluish white) porcelain manufactured in one of the Hutien kilns. A Longquan vase was in shape of archaic Zun type and was supported by 4 arched feet.
It was a characteristic ritual vessel put on an altar table.
In beautiful celadon tint, the vessel was preserved in perfect condition.
Old abrasions were found on the surface when slight incursions were happened to the ridges.

Description:

A black-glazed Cizhou jar was uniquely decorated on the surface with ribbed lines.
It was a characteristic type of jars of Cizhou wares.
More uniquely, there are Chinese characters "Chang" which most likely as Chinese last names were inscribed on both loops.
They were finished by ribbed techniques.
Accordingly of the names, the jar was believed a custom-made ware by noble people.
It was a more valuable piece then.

A ewer with an greyish-olive toned glaze that covers all but the foot and base. The mouth is trumpet-flared and the 3-lobed rim of the mouth is trimmed in silver (see photos). The grooved strap handle is typical of Song items .

Condition: Tiny firing separation at the base of the spout (not a crack).

A lovely set of Dingyao Cup and Stand are well preserved.

Description: A Jun tripod censer was applied with beautiful bluish glaze. Well mold with three regularly separated feet, the censer was in a decent look when some incursions were happened between the glaze and the body clay at the bottom. The darken body clay revealed at the bottom was a strong characteristic for the Jun wares from Yuan periods. Enduring old reflection was obvious in the cavetto of the censer...

Description:

A beautiful Qingbai porcelaneous set of cup and cupstand was found in original condition.
In characteristic greenish tint in the glaze, the ware was revealed with chalk-feel bodyclay underside.
The firing effects were yielded on the body clay.
They were preserved in perfect condition.
Some similar pieces were in the documentations.

Rare Chinese Song / Yuan Dynasty Glazed Stoneware Censer

This stoneware censer was made during the Song Dynasty (AD 960 - 1279) or possibly the Yuan Dynasty (AD 1279 - 1368). It is quite "heavily-potted" with both inner and outer surfaces coated in a crackled transparent olive-green glaze reminiscent of yue ware, apart from the sturdy foot that remains unglazed. To the inside centre there is kiln grit embedded within the glaze. On opposing sides at the shoulder are two small loop handles.
