A whimsical Yixing pottery figural group depicting a mature and a young rat in hollowed, half log with a cache of three peanuts. Marked with two impressed seals. Out of our comfort zone with this category (perhaps another's gain) and assuming it likely is a later 20th century item. About 4 1/2" (11.43cm) high, 6" (15.24cm) long, and about 3" (7.62) wide at the base. Condition is excellent.

Description:
An old Xer inkstone was intriguingly made in a shape of the ancient Chinese musical instrument-GuQin.
Nicely fitted in the original Suanzi wood box, the inkstone was preserved in a perfect condition except some old abrasions on the surface.
And the well carved inscription: Xi-Ann-Ju-Xi(Xi Ann the Recluse)was on the underside of the inksotne.
Date: Qing Dynasty, 19th century.
Length including box: 20.5cm.

An original state of Ming dynasty 17th century Swatow type polychrome box, decorated on the top with a bird and floral pattern, continuous flower scroll to bottom side. Condition re-touched to a chip, but it's rare to found such like it piece still in original state enamel after buried very long times. Diameter: 8 cm.

A Zitan cup was carved from one piece of wood block.
Finely carved handle was made to imitate the bamboo stalks.
It was in perfect condition.
There're carving lines on the handle. They were not cracks.
Minute wood grains were yielded as shallow cracks at the bottom.
Date: Qing Dynasty, 19th century.

Being decorated on the surface and in the cavetto with carved motifs, the stem cup was well mold in decent shape.
Somehow tilted due to manual pottering, which was not unusual as we may expect from an old production

An extremely rare Song-Yuan dynasty 13th-14th century brown glazed Jizhou type ware, engraved to the body with two babies among flower scrolls. Condition is perfect and free from any restoration. Height: 21.2cm.
Large Chinese Qing dynasty Qianlong period hexagonal form Yixing pottery tea caddy or canister. The flat panels are decorated with four moulded vertical stylized "dan" (tranquility) characters flanked by two bats each, symbolizing happiness and joy. The curved shoulder is encircled with small, impressed flowers. The bottom corners extend onto short, flat feet along the edge of the base. A decent wood stand was well structured by precious Zitan and burl wood.
Framed by a unique species of Da-Yei Zitan, and panelled with burl wood board in the center, the wood stand was reinforced in the underside with lacquered cotton cloth.
Strong and sound, the wood stand was yielded on the surface with darken patina.
Date: late 19th century.
Dimensions: 48cm x 31cm x 8cm
