This is a blue and white Chinese Export miniature "Long Eliza" trumpet-lipped vase comprising molded lobed panels having ladies and foliage in the Kang Hsi style, bearing a jade mark on the underside, It is in excellent condition and measures 4 1/2 in. approx.

A very rare and beautifully carved blackwood table. The carvings represent good luck symbols with key fret designs,lingzhi fungus, floral, tendril, and coins. The front and the back are a mirror images of each other, and the two sides also have mirror image carvings on both ends. The legs are straight and not curved as seen in the wide angle photo. A shallow dish, heavily potted, covered in a beautiful celadon glaze producing the crackles of the Geyao type glaze. The recessed base is glazed while the foot rim is dressed with an iron brown wash. Periode : Qing Dynasty : 19th Century Diameter : 24 cm. Condition : Perfect, no chips, cracks, hairlines or restorations.

Transparent cobalt blue glass bowl, 18th / 19th C. Rounded sides and slightly flaring rim, the exterior carved and incised in relief with peonys, bird and taihu rock. The reign mark Qianlong nian zhi is incised in standard script within a bold square on the base. Condition: fine. Dimensions: 16,2 cm diameter x 7,3 cm high. Weight: 538 gram.

Description: A charming jade piece was carved in a floral shape. By a greasy feel and nice effects from old dyeing work, the small jade was used to be a decorative piece on the cloth. Description: A wood panel was carved with a house, a plum tree, and an elephant. An odd combination when an elephant was described in Chinese garden. "Good sign(elephant) stays in my house" -a greeting words meant a lot to Chinese people. The panel or the architecture sculpture had always been bestowed with the best wishes like this. An elephant who doesn't seem to be realistic, maybe just because the carver had never seen a real one. Date: Qing Dynasty(early 19th century) Width: 19.5cm

An amazing pattern of gold and silver maki-e decorates this lidded Tea Cup and stand dating from the later Edo period decorated with a samurai clan crest in gold. Assembled it is 7 inches (17.5 cm) tall, 6 inches (15.5 cm) diameter and in excellent condition, enclosed in a custom- fitted Kiri-wood box.

Unusually large Tibetan copper and silver or silverplate mihrab form reliquary, or portable shrine box, decorated in repousse on the cover with a pattern of abstract scrolls. The back, sides, and side handles are copper. Also called a “gau,” these prayer boxes were used to hold protective amulets, personal deities, and written prayers. A strap or belt could be attached to the side handles when traveling. Otherwise, they were usually placed on the home altar...

The Guanyin seated on a lotus throne, accompanied by two attendants. At the back of the figure there is an opening where offerings or religious texts were kept. This piece is 35 cm tall and dates from the 18th century. Condition: paint loss, worm holes (treated), age wear, an ornament missing at the top of the back plate. From a Dutch private collection.

Measuring 16 1/4" high, this porcelain bottle vase is late Qing, 19th century, and is decorated in heavy enamel glaze, with some iridescence visible. There are four panels, each with landscapes, floral and foliate elements, all in varying shades of green, with yellow, magenta, and pale blue flowers...

A Chinese carved cinnabar saucer dish. A chrysanthemum flower head adorns the center of the dark vermillion colored dish and is surrounded by a leaf lappet border. The carved decoration revealing a cross section of dozens of built up layers of cinnabar lacquer. 19th century or earlier. Good condition. 5 15/16 inches (15.08 cm) diameter. Weighs 5.5 to 5.6 ounces (more than 1/3 of a pound) or about 158 grams - pretty weighty for the small diameter.

For over 1000 years the Chinese have used Bamboo Shoots for the art of divination, forecasting the future. The shoot are tossed on a table or to the ground. The landing position of the shoots is the determining factor. This pair of divination shoots is over 200 years old.
