Blue & White bowl in rounded form, decorated outside with Chrysanthemum scroll and key-fret border around the rim. The center inside with rossete design. Ming dynasty 15th century Xuande-Zhendong period. Condition: restoration for one very large chip and the other normal chip to the rim, firing crack on base, further in good condition. Diameter: 14 cm and High: 6.8 cm.

In unique shaped of circular box, lower part decorated with lotus petals and the cover with a lion seated figure which three holes to the wall, it's probably used for incense burner. Covered overall with Qingbai near to Celadon glaze. Late Song-Yuan dynasty 12th-13th century. Condition is perfect. Diameter: 9.1cm and Height: 14.5cm.

A good Longquan ware, finely and balance potted, decorated with fluted sides to interior cavetto, covered overall with pale brown glaze. Southern Song dynasty period Longquan ware. Condition with tiny flake chip to foot rim, otherwise is perfect. Diameter: 14.5cm and High: 4cm.

Description: A Jun lotus-bud bowl was in a lovely size.
By a fine condition, the bowl was applied with dark mustard-blue glaze which was hard being yielded precisely in my pictures.
It was an excavation piece that can be clearly verified by those characteristics, like the minute whitish dots happened to the glaze bubbles, the fine crackles, the incursive whitish band around the rim where the glaze meeting with the body clay and the old-feel brownish body clay at the bottom where the mold...

A rare and nice small celadon jar decorated with iron-brown spotted on the body, covered overall with a banana leaf green glaze, base unglazed. A decorative method which was employed widely at the Longquan kilns in Yuan dynasty (1279-1368). In Japan the technique is called "tobiseiji" and was favored particularly by tea masters. Perfect condition, with no any chips or crack, free from restoration as well, valuable pieces collected from Central Sulawesi area...

A rare one of Yuan dynasty 13th-14th century b/w bird feeder,globular shape with a single ring handle, decorated with plum flower scrolls. Unglazed base and in perfect condition. Height: 4.5cm and maximum wide: 8.5cm.

A rare early Ming dynasty Hongwu period (1368-1398) underglazed-red large bowl, decorated to the interior center with a branch of flower, the cavetto wall with reversed white on red peony design below key-fret pattern. Exterior with continuously six peony flower. Condition is good, only found two firing crack lines and minor firing imperfection, otherwise no any restoration. Diameter: 25cm.

Description: A Dingyao Dish was applied with characteristic creamy white glaze.
In elegantly curved rim, the dish was decorated in the center with carved floral pattern.
It was preserved in perfect condition except some burial stains were left on the surface.

Chinese Song / Yuan Dynasty Qingbai Porcelain Jar / Rice Measure

This small jar was made during the 13th - 14th century, during the latter part of the Song Dynasty (AD 960 - 1279), or possibly the following Yuan Dynasty (AD 1279 - 1368). Its form is often referred to as a "rice measure". It has moulded decoration around the shoulder and is coated in a finely-crackled blueish-green qingbai glaze save for the rim and base that remain unglazed.

This is a fine, beautiful and brightly coloured example of a small “Jun” ware bowl which was treated as a “manufacturing defect”. The bowl is well glazed in a bright lavender colour with pooling of a bright blue sky glaze at the base of the bowl. It would have been a fine piece if not for an overglazed which has resulted in an overflow of a big pool of the glaze down to the sagger. When it cooled down, the glaze glued the base of the bowl to the sagger...

Rare Large Chinese Yuan Dynasty Underglazed Zodiac Jar

This large and extremely rare stoneware jar of very attractive form was made during the Yuan Dynasty (AD 1279 - 1368) or possibly the early part of the following Ming Dynasty, most likely at one of the kilns in Yuxi, Yunnan province. It is "heavily-potted" and has been decorated in an underglazed pattern of twelve panels each featuring one of the twelve animals of the Chinese zodiac...

A nice Junyao dish in flower shape and slight thickly potted. Jin/Yuan dynasty in perfect condition. Diameter: 13cm.

A finely blue & white dish with Qilin, underside decorated with Emblems and continuous floral spray. Condition is excellent, with no any chips and cracks, well balance potted with good bright blue tone, flawlessly and free from any restoration as well. Dating Ming dynasty late 15th century, Thiansun to early Chenghua period. Diameter: 20.8 cm

Description:

A Junyao tripod censer was in decent form.
It was well glazed in moon-white tint when subtle green glaze was reflected within.
Some crackles were yielded in the glaze due to enduring time.
Some incursions were happened too.

Very Rare Chinese Song / Yuan Dynasty Buddhist Lotus Jar with Sanskrit Inscription

This very rare, possibly unique, pottery jar was made between the 10th and 13th centuries, during the Five Dynasties period (AD 906 - 960), Song Dynasty (AD 960 - 1279) or possibly the Yuan Dynasty (AD 1279 - 1368) and has been excavated from a Buddhist site in Yunnan province. 

It is one of the most unusual Yunnan jars that we have seen. The design represents either lotus leaves or a lotus blossom...

A finely and rare design of late 15th century small dish, decorated in the centre with a Lotus pond. Underside with figures design. Ming dynasty late 15th century, possibly Chenghua-Hongzhi private kiln ware. Condition is perfect except two short firing cracks to the base, free from restoration. Diameter: 12 cm.

 

A good sample of Ming dynasty Chenghua period blue & white dish, decorated with a white on blue Dragons and vividly incised to dragon body. Six character "Da Ming Cheng Hua Nien Zhe" within double circle on the base. Condition: damaged and glued restoration like indicated on the pictures. Diameter: 17 cm.
