A rare b/w bowl, decorated at the exterior with chrysanthemum spray. Interior centre with a flaming pearl motif and a classic scroll border to the inner rim. Yuan dynasty 14th century Jindezhen or Fujian wares. Condition with minor re-touched to the rim area, but the pieces is not broken. Diameter: 12 cm and High: 5.9 cm.

A lacquered and iron bound round lidded box called a kubi-oke made to carry the head of a man taken in battle or that of a man after committing ritual suicide for offering to the lord. It is 13 inches (33 cm) diameter, 11-1/2 inches (29 cm) tall with large handles from which it could be carried on a pole. There is mouse damage on one part of the bottom, but has not eaten through to the inside.

A long silk lampas-woven sash, known as hizam, once worn by a Moroccan bride. The beautiful pattern being reminiscent of the fabled textiles of Moorish Spain. The pattern repeat is changing in the middle of the girdle, the ends are decorated with the auspicious eight-pointed star and the hand of Fatima (hamsa). One side with three the other with originally four fringes. Condition: one tear, one fringe missing, traces of usage. Dimension: 221 cm x 21.2 cm without fringes.

This Chinese pipe is from the Miao Ethnic Minority group in the vicinity of Rong Jiang. My Miao friends insist that this pipe would have been used for smoking tobacco and not opium. Made from silver alloy, the stem design has the two dragons chasing the center pearl.
The pipe is in very good condition and is 19" long and it comes with its own custom made stand.

A blue & white pear shaped/Yuhuchun vase, with main decoration of continuous Lotus sprays in nice cobalt-blue tone. Ming dynasty 15th century. Condition: Mouth rim area missing and restored, the neck down to body is perfect, unfortunately the shape not in well balance and one kiln adhesive adhere on the body visible on enlargement 4, otherwise it's a rare item.
