Here is a rare and fabulous Muromachi to Momoyama period (16th century) 42 plate koshozan kabuto signed by Haruta Tokisada, a famous armor craftsman of Nara active during the later Muromachi. The shape is exquisite, slightly bulbous in back, with a relaxed center just lower than the front. Dish decorated with six-pettaled flower head reserved in white a stemmed floret in each petal in the center against a hatched ground, repeated white floral units in the inner wall and and a zigzag border. A lotus scroll on the outside. Glazed base. Hongzhi D= 25,5 cm, H = 4.2 cm Condition : profesional restored on the hairline (hard to find).

A very unusual unglazed small tea pot decorated with various nuts and seeds all in three dimensional relief, featuring a mushroom shaped lid dating from the later 19th to early 20th century. Known as Banko in Japan, the kilns which produced these items were also responsible for the Sumidagawa pottery so popular in the west. Description: A bronze censer in elegant rectangular shape was rarely inscribed with scholar hall mark. Had been polished in some way, the excellent bronze quality was therefor revealed. A 18/19 century Qing piece was from a European provenance. Dimension:8.7cm x 7.4cm x 4.8cm

A fine Antique Japanese bronze censer Meiji period artist or makers signed. A incredibly finely detailed casting with dragons and shishi dogs and traditional Japanese design elements. Measuring approx. 21 inches tall in good condition some repairs or re-soldering to the handles and base supports causing some discolorations to the patina. All in all this is a remarkable piece at a very reasonable price.

Rare Chinese Ming Dynasty Monochrome Blue Porcelain Box

This rare porcelain box was made during the Ming Dynasty (1368 - 1644) in the mid to late 16th century. The outer surface is coated in a dark blue glaze whilst the inner surface is coated in a white glaze. To the base are thick globules of crawled blue glaze.

This Chinese winter court officials hat has an elaborate gold acorn finial, silk velvet brim, and red silk tassels. The black chin strap cord is tied with a double adjusting slip knot. The hat is in good condition.
