A very tall footed chawan by Kawai Kanjiro enclosed in a fine Kiri-wood box endorsed by his daughter Koha, head of the Kawai Kanjiro Museum. The piece is very much in this potters unique style. The pale rough clay is covered in ash colored glaze with a wide band of soft green, within which are two floral scribbles in red and blue. An old jadeite bracelet of Qing Dynasty was unusually discovered from excavation.
Aside from other jadeite pieces which we usually see that in green or tri-colors, this jadeite bracelet was originally in pure white quality with least tissues observed.
During long time of burial the jadeite's surface was incursioned to a foggy but greasy-feel patina which was a phenomenon only the nephrite jade would yield...

A Song dynasty white glaze bottle vase, rounded side with tall neck and unglazed base, globular body and flared rim, bottle covered with creamy white glaze. Item is in good condition with a small rim fritt, no crack, hairlines and free from restoration, minor glaze degradation. Size: 24 cm height.

One nice brush washer was made from one block of precious Zitan wood.
By purplish black tint, the rare wood piece was preserved very good without any defects and free of any restoration.
It was well carved in beautiful round shape with inverted mouth rim by decent proportion.
