Description:

A stoneware jar was preserved in an original condition.
Being applied with olive-green glaze on the the body, the jar or Hu was molded with a trumpet-like mouth and stand on a flat bottom.
Two well- mold loops were nicely pressed to the body as handles.
Decorations of incised wave bands were around the mouth while grooved patterns were carved around the body in the middle segment.
Black hue was affected to the slender neck and the mouth portion...

Here is a splendid locket depicting some sort of creature: zephyr? Lion? Or some other mythological critter? He has a diamond in his mouth, and his eyes are red stones (too small to ID). Measuring 1-1/8”, weighing 9.5g, and marked 10k, he is set up for 2 photographs with both celluloid and photo rings. This is a magnificent heavy sterling necklace of intricate coiled links by Antonio Pineda. It measures 18" end to end and is 1/4" wide. It is solid, weighing 115 grams. The clasp is a silver ball and is signed with the early Antonio mark -- Silver By Tono and the eagle mark. This signature pre-dates the Antonio crown hallmark and these very early pieces are scarce. Fine original condition, gorgeous worn with anything. An important and rare Antonio Pineda necklace.
