Description:

A Longquan cup was in rarely-seen Chrysanthemum shape.
Finely mold and was applied with pale green agate-feel glaze on the surface, the cup was stand on a small foot ring which in slightly everted wall.
A molding navel was in the center of the foot ring when darken brownish tint was revealed at the body clay.
Glaze crackles and obvious incursions were happened to the glaze.

The cup was finely shaped and was well glazed as those documentary counterparts...

A fine Chinese carved Ivory dragon pendant of the finese quality carving mounted on a silver frame with loop for chain. In good vintage condition some minor age cracking. Measuring approx 3.5 x 3 inches or 10 x 8 cm. A fine design of the finest quality would enhance any collection.

A Victorian Edwardian 14k yellow gold rubies and seed pearls ring circa 1900. This size 7-1/2 ring features five genuine rubies interspersed with four seed pearls in a 1/4" across setting. All stones are claw-set, this ring is stamped 14K, it weighs 2.1 grams and it is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, damage or repairs other than a bit of surface wear/dulling to the pearls (one has been replaced)...

 

This unique size rhodochrosite heart pendent has a 14Kt yellow gold bail. The width of the heart is 1 ½” and the height including the bail is 2”.

Heavy silver (.980) with turquoise oval cabochon in center, the scrolling designs with beads and cut out areas in precolumbian motifs, utlized during the revival of silver work in Taxco Mexico in the early 20th century, no artist stamp. A blue & white bowl, decorated outside with continuously flower scroll and inside the center with "Fu" character within double circle. Early Ming 15th century. Condition: small restored to rim missing (result visible on the last enlargement), further in good condition.

The fabric was probably cut out from an old kasuri futon blanket and made into Yu-age. What is Yu-age? When I purchased this beautiful wall hanger like piece (I thought), I was told that this was Yu-age, an old fashioned sounding name to me. This is a bath towel according to the Japanese dictionary. A rare okimono from the Kairakuen Kiln of the Tokugawa branch family dating from the early to mid 19th century. The box label attributes these to Eiraku (presumably Hozen, who was tasked with helping to further the ceramic production of the kiln). The rooster is roughly 7 inches tall the same in length (18 cm). Dating from the later Edo period, they come in an old wooden box with a cloth cover and are in excellent condition...

Japanese Yokohama woodblock print triptych illustrating the interior of an American steamship by Utagawa Yoshikazu (flourished 1850-1870) published by Maruya Jinpachi in 1861. In this design, the artist utilizes the traditional Japanese convention of “roofless architecture” which allows the contents of the ship to be visible. Inside, westerners are seated at a long table having a dinner party. The assembled size is 14 5/8"V x 29 1/4"H (each panel is about 14 5/8"V x 10"H)...

Beautifully handmade sterling silver "Petate" or basket weave brooch designed (c.1940's) and signed by Taxco, Mexico artist William Spratling(1900-67). This example has the prized soft and rich patina that comes only with age. Pin measures 3 inches X 2 1/2 inches. Excellent condition with no dents, dings or repairs. Pin back and lock work perfectly. A Sterling Silver Footed Cake Plate, Made for Tiffany; Early 20th century. It is 10 1/2" across and 1 1/2 " high. It has an Extensive Pierced Floral Design and an Elaborate "CAV" Monogram in the Center. Some very minor wear scratches on the surface, but otherwise in excellent condition.

White wisteria (fuji in Japanese) drape from the gilded rim of this Kutani vase signed from the pre-eminent Kaburaki (Kaburagi) studio dating from the opening of the 20th century. The imagery is exquisitely performed with over-glaze enamels on a pastel gray ground. The vase is large at 13 inches (33.5 cm) tall, 8-1/2 inches (22 cm) diameter and is in excellent condition, with some wear to the gold rim.
