This is a magnificent sterling and polished moss agate bracelet by Danish designer Bent Knudsen who signs his work BENT K. They are the most beautiful moss agate stones that I have ever seen, with brilliant natural color. The last stone is an ingenious clasp. It unscrews and closes with a hook and bolt making the bracelet continuous when on the wrist. It measures 7" end to end and is 1" wide. Set in heavy gauge sterling, it weighs 103 grams. A rare white glaze bowl, decorated outside with carved of diaper pattern and key-fret border to the rim, underglazed blue Chinese seal mark on the base. Late Ming dynasty, possibly Zhengde-Jiajing period ware, founded in South Sulawesi. Condition: re-touched minor chips to rim, further in good condition with no any cracks. Diameter: 9.4 cm and High: 4.8 cm.

A very unusual hammer textured lotus shaped tray featuring an insect crawling down the side enclosed in a wooden box titled Textured Leaf Shape Fruit Dish and signed Tekisui Zo (made by Tekisui). The brass basin is supported by a withering round stem convoluting beneath. A bright portion of brass hammered out with holes show the leaf slowly deteriorating, returning to earth. Description: An elegant snuff dish was made from high-quality pottery mud-Ju Sa Chen Nie. Molded finely in bamboo stalk shape on the rim as decoration, this oval dish was used as a snuff dish by unique material. With warm brownish patina , the dish was partially tarnished due to long time of use. Date: Qing Dynasty (19th Century) Dimension: 6.9cm to 4.4cm

 

 

An oblong piece of golden brown amber with carvings in relief of two flying bats among clouds. Each bat has the tassled end of a rope in its mouth; on this rope are three coins. Bats and coins both represent good fortune. A translucent blue Chinese glass bead (Ming period)comes with the amber.

A very rare handmade sterling and center bezel set oval malachite bracelet by the American Arts & Crafts workshop Chicago Art Silver Shop. In 1912, after moving from their native Hungary, Edmund Boker and Ernest Gould formed the Chicago Art Silver Shop. Both had worked as silversmiths in a Budapest factory making objects for European royal families. The bracelet is a bangle that is 3/4" wide in the front, narrowing to 3/8" in the back and is 8" around in the inside...

This is a charming sterling framed enamel of a green apple on a blue background. What a wonderful choice of these two vivid, contrasting colors. The apple jumps out and the artist captured the stem perfectly. The pendant measures 1 7/8" long including the bail and is 1 3/8" diameter. It is in perfect original condition. The back is completely plain and there are no marks at all. The frame tests sterling. This piece is delightful.

A blue & white small bowl, well balance potted, decorated at the interior center with an Eagle and diaper pattern border around the rim. Four Chinese character mark on the base "Da Ming Nien Chao" within double circle. Late Ming dynasty Longqing-Wanli period. Condition is very good, only one tiny chip to rim and to the foot rim, otherwise is perfect with no any cracks and free from restoration as well. Diameter: 10 cm and High: 5.5 cm.

A finely blue & white jar, with fluted sides body and decorated in underglazed blue of medallion filled with censer, vase and scholar object. Around the neck and foot rim border with a white on blue Chrysanthemum scroll. Nice one from estate collection pieces. Early Ching Kangxi period (1662-1722). Condition is excellent, no chips, no cracks and free from any restoration, unfortunately the cover is missing. High: 14 cm.

Description: Like the beauty of a poem, a beautiful Jadeite snuff bottle was in elegant slender shape. Capped with brownish amber stopper, the jadeite bottle was in lake-green tint and was decorated with motifs of numerous archaic characters of Sou (longevity) on the surface. The foot rim was delicately carved in groove style at the bottom. By an elegant profile, the charming tint and the well hollowed chamber, all these characteristics made this snuff bottle an excellent piece...
