This is the ARMADILLO CUFF, designed by Valentin Vidaurreta and made by Manuel Altamirano. It dates c. 1945-50 and is featured in the book MEXICAN SILVER by Morrill and Berk. The rounded shaped panels graduate in size measuring from 1 3/4" wide in the front to 1" at the back. It measures 5 3/4" around in the inside and has a 1 1/4" opening so it is for a 6 3/4" wrist. It is signed for Manual Altamirano as shown in the photo...

Wonderful sterling cross and rosary beads by Taxco silversmith Hector Aguilar. I believe this to be quite rare and it is pictured on page 153 of the book SILVER MASTERS OF MEXICO BY Penny Morrill. The cross is 2 3/4" long without the bail,3 1/8" with the bail. It is attached to the rosary beads which measure 15" when hanging on the neck. It does not have a clasp and slips over the head...

Stunning 970 silver and moonstone necklace by Taxco silversmith Antonio Pineda. It is in fine original condition and measures approximately 15" around. It is curved to sculpt the neck so a bit hard to measure. It is 1/2" wide. The moonstones are clear blue and all original and in fine condition, no chips or cracks. Secure push-in clasp, intact safety chain. Signed for Antonio Pineda as shown in the photo. Extremely beautiful.

A Japanese Satsuma Dragon Tea set (Shimazo Crest; Shuzan mark, from the Mejii period 1868-1912). The Pot is, 8" high, the Creamer is 5.5", and the Sugar is 7"; all with Lids. Hand painted in colors and gilt with Rakan (Buddhist disciples) and dragons. Pieces signed with mark on the bottom. The Shimazo Crest is also on the Side of the Teapot. There is a chip on the inside lid of the teapot that is not noticeable from the outside, otherwise it is in excellent condition...

An Unusually Large Victorian Brass Stamp Box. It has Five Compartments and in Addition to the Four Corner Supports, there is a Center Support Front and Rear. The Dimensions are 9" in width x 5" deep x 2.75" high. Circa late 19th century and probably English in origin. It is in excellent condition.

Bold and beautiful sterling and black onyx bracelet by Los Ballesteros. I believe this is originally an Antonio Pineda design. These are V shaped links with onyx inset into the sides. Each link is hinged and moves. It is in fine original condition, no chips or cracks to the stones. It measures 8 1/4" end to end and is 1 1/2" wide. It weighs 140 grams and is signed for Los Ballesteros as shown in the photo. A fabulous looking piece.

Very rare dimensional sterling and natural stone clip by American studio artist Irena Bryner, c. 1950. This is the first piece of her work I have been able to acquire. It is just not seen on the market. Bryner was a founding member of the San Francisco Metal Arts Guild. There is a chapter about her life and work in the book MESSENGERS OF MODERNISM. This clip is in excellent original condition measuring 2 3/8" by 1"...

RARE and OUTSTANDING 940 silver bracelet from Hector Aguilar's workshop the Taller Borda designed by Gabriel Flores. Fabulous design and execution, this bracelet is in fine original condition with a beautiful patina. It consists of six pin hinged panels with a chain and pin closure. It measures approximately 7" around in the inside and is 1 1/16th " wide. It weighs 124 grams.
