Description:
A stone turtle was in an amusing look.
By simple carving lines, the turtle was vividly depicted.
Enduring through long time of age, the decorative lines were blurred.
But the overall condition was perfect.

This six of antique Chinese teacups has a glossy brown glaze, which is typical for the so-called Batavia wares. The interior is decorated with a spray flower and a narrow band along the rim. Rare, hand made and standing 4 3/4" tall this sterling silver and black onyx ostrich sculpture was designed and signed in the early 1950's by Taxco, Mexico artist William Spratling. Comprised of an egg shaped body of black onyx with white specks. The bird has applied detailed wings and tail feathers along with an intricately detailed face, head and ostrich neck. The piece stands on two long detailed legs and feet. Head to tail measures 4 3/4"...
A rarely encountered Japanese "shin hanga" woodblock print titled "Sunset Glow at the Skirt of Mt. Fuji" by Ito Takashi (1894-1982), published by Watanabe in the second month of 1952. This print is from an old Tucson, Arizona collection and was purchased in the mid-20th century. It is not a recent Heisei edition. This standard sized horizontal oban print has full margins and measures 10 3/8" x 15 1/4" (image about 9 1/2" x 14 1/4"). Very good color and overall condition...

A bronze Buddha of Ming Dynasty was well preserved with fine gilding condition on the surface.
By darken sheen and with very limited abrasion on the ridges of the carvings, the Buddha was kept in a perfect condition except loss of the undercover.
Red protection slip was painted inside the hollowed inner side.
