Beautiful and rare sterling and carved obsidian mask bracelet by Abraham Paz,c.1930 . Pieces with his own hallmark are rare to find as many of his designs were bought by Fred Davis who then used his own hallmark on the creation. This bracelet measures 6 1/2" end to end and is 3/4" wide.
It is in fine original condition and signed as shown. A great opportunity to own a Paz piece.
Description:
A white-glazed incense burner was supported by three squeezed and applied foot.
While being decorated with iron-oxide spots on the surface, the incense burner was nicely applied with two curved loops on the rim.
It was turn-wheeled when molding scars were easily observed on the body.
The belly was clamped into as gourd shape and make it in a unique look.

Lacquer covers the natural curves of this wood tray for use in the service of Sencha leaf Green Tea. It is 10 x 14-1/2 x 1 inches (25.5 x 37 x 2.5 cm). The bottom shows wear typical of use.

This ornate antique 2 piece tea strainer on its original claw-foot stand measures 5-1/4" x 3-1/4" and it features birds and flowers. The stand has a repousse foliate design. Each is fully hallmarked for Amsterdam, Holland 1918, and they bear the maker's mark for Fa. Dahlia. A pair of mythical animals (mother and child) of a creamy jade color. It has small areas of natural brown, light orange and grey coloration and inclusions. The jade is beautifully carved and feels lovely to the touch. The curled tail of the smaller animal forms a round hole which enables a thin rope to be put through it. Absolutely endearing. A Chinese elongated pear form peachbloom glazed vase with everted rim. An attractive "liver" spot on one side of the vase. The glaze nicely controlled - stopping neatly, inside and outside, evenly above the crisply defined foot rim. At least early 19th century and possibly late 18th century. Excellent condition. By the workshop of the renowned maker Ryubundo (signed Kinryu-do on the bronze lid), this iron tetsubin measures roughly 8 1/4" from tip of spout to other side, and the handle reaches just about 8 1/2" high. The exterior is decorated with a dragon that reaches around the entire pot, in and out of waves and cloudlike forms, the entire surface decorated with these traditional motifs and rock like textures...
A comic scene in ink on paper of boys herding oxen by Nagasawa Rosetsu spreads across these two low screens. The central characters, one in the lead the second astride one of the behemoths crossing a bridge is distracted by a butterfly floating by above while the beast in front steps on its own rope, pulling his head back to the viewer with a quizzical expression. Other oxen and boys populate the background...
