This is a blue and white brush rest for a scholar study. The brush rest is manufactured in the likeness of blue and white wares on which Arabic and Persian inscriptions appear during the reign of emperor Cheng-Te, Ming dynasty. The painting is like a scroll work know as the “Muhammadan scrolls” with inter-twining foliage.

An Arabic inscription is found on both sides of the brush rest, in the centre of the brush rest, in a diamond shape medallion...

'Mesmerizing' is what one client of Mimi Dee Artwear stated to describe the light dancing through vintage amber. Nine vintage 14mm rich red faceted beads, that passed the friction electrostatic acetone amber test, and New 18K GOLD (not gf, not vermeil) were used to make this delish bracelet! Although flat it measure 8.25, while the 18K Gold S hook is engaged it measures a comfortable 7" in the interior. Hand knotted for security! Only one. Sold, no price, no info.

Stunning, elegant and rare this sterling silver & turquoise necklace was designed & signed circa 1950's by Taxco, Mexico modernist artist Antonio Pineda (1919-2009). This is a smashing sterling and wire wrapped glass ball pendant and chain by Modernist Paul Lobel. It is three dimensional and interesting from every angle. A great size, measuring 2 1/2" including the bail, it is on its' original chain 18" also made by Paul Lobel. It is in fine original condition and both the pendant and the chain clasp are signed LOBEL STERLING. One of the nicest Lobel pieces I have seen.

A very elegant pair of Antique Andon lamps dating from the Meiji period in the original storage box from a Kyoto estate. The box is dated Meiji 36 (1904) and stylistically these fit perfectly into that era, with a fine transparent red lacquer finish. They are in excellent condition, each standing 31 inches (79 cm) tall, 8-1/2 inches (22 cm) square. Due to size these will require special shipping consideration, the cost to be accrued separately.
