The bronze piece was very well depicted not only the outlook but also in the details on the surface, the toad’s skin. The irregular lumps and bumps may not be delightful but were manufactured so well as to activate the bronze frog to a real one...

It is lacquered outside is tame-nuri opaque wine-red, inside is polished ro-iro black decorated with gold reeds overlapping from all directions. A Japanese Satsuma Dragon Tea set (Shimazo Crest; Shuzan mark, from the Mejii period 1868-1912). The Pot is, 8" high, the Creamer is 5.5", and the Sugar is 7"; all with Lids. Hand painted in colors and gilt with Rakan (Buddhist disciples) and dragons. Pieces signed with mark on the bottom. The Shimazo Crest is also on the Side of the Teapot. There is a chip on the inside lid of the teapot that is not noticeable from the outside, otherwise it is in excellent condition...
This is a blue and white Chinese Export miniature "Long Eliza" trumpet-lipped vase comprising molded lobed panels having ladies and foliage in the Kang Hsi style, bearing a jade mark on the underside, It is in excellent condition and measures 4 1/2 in. approx.

A framed calligraphy fan painting by important Edo period poet Kawano Tetsuto (1825-1867), published in the book Shijin Kano Tetsuto (1932). The ancient paper fan is mounted in a field of gold flake bordered with black lacquered wood, the frame measuring 11-1/2 by 23-1/2 inches (29 x 59.5 cm). Chinese late Qing dynasty porcelain bowl with a slightly flared rim decorated around the exterior in two shades of underglaze blue with four stylized lotus blossoms among leafy scrolling tendrils set against a smooth, translucent white porcelain ground. Description: A beautiful floral picture was done by unique techniques. Totally used with cast iron, the plants of peony flowers, the leaves and the stems were skilfully hammered, chiseled and soldered together into a natural form. The tradition of iron pictures was developed at late 18th century. For this piece, it was from late 19th century and had been finished with some black paint in the later date for covering it from further erosion. Condition: Very good...
