A superbly glaze of Yuan dynasty b/w jarlet, decorated with six panels divided by beads line, three filled with chrysanthemum flower and the other three with empty space, attached to the neck with pair of ring handle. Condition with a hole missing at base, further in perfect shape and free from any chip, crack or restoration. High: 8.9cm

A blue & white dish, decorated with a Ming court lady with a servant in the garden scene, underside with continuously flower scroll. Ming dynasty 15th century, the end of Interregnum period wares Thienshun reign. Condition 'D' shaped crack before restoration visible on the last enlargement, minor old chips to foot rim, further in good condition. Diameter: 19.5cm

Description:

An olive-shape Jizhou vase was applied with beautiful tortoiseshell glaze all over the surface.
By characteristic flat bottom, the buff-tinted body clay was revealed in the soft-feel quality.
They were the characteristics for Jizhou wares.
Upon the glaze being well preserved in a very good condition, the immensely spread crackles were yielded with pinpoint holes which caused from incursions.
It is rare to find a Jizhou bottle in such good condition...

Blue & White dish with Vajra design, Ming dynasty late 15th century possibly Chenghua period. Condition: restored D shape out of rim. Diameter: 26.3 cm.

A finely blue & white bowl, decorated inside and outside with a good painted of continuously flowers scroll. Presume as Ming dynasty late 15th century Jindezhen private kiln ware with very finer quality one. Condition is excellent, with no any chip and no crack, except a bit firing glaze flaw to the base. Diameter: 15.5 cm.

A very fine blue & white dish, decorated in the center with Peony flowers and around the cavetto with "Ruyi" scroll, diaper pattern to rim. Underside with a pair of foliated dragon. Dating Ming dynasty late Thianshun to early Chenghua. Condition is excellent with no any cracks or chips, well balance, flawlessly and free from restoration as well. Diameter: 15.6 cm.

A rare Longquan Guan style with finely slight thickly potted, covered overall with grayish green glaze. Southern-Song dynasty 12th-13th centuries. Condition with a glaze hairline, but still have 'ding' sound when tapped lightly, further in perfect shape without any restoration. Diameter: 12 cm.

Large Chinese Jin Dynasty (1125-1234 AD) Honan brown glazed truncated meiping vase decorated with cut glaze concentric circular designs on the shoulders. Two strap handles flank both sides of the short neck. 11"H x 11 1/2" diameter. Very good overall condition. There are a few scattered small pit holes, which are original production imperfections (see enlargement 3). Some scratches in the glaze are evident as is typical for a piece of this age.

A nice and quite rare globular form jar with small mouth rim, decorated with main pattern of 'ruyi' scroll to the body. Condition is perfect excepted minor glaze flaw, no chip/no crack and free from any restoration. Ming dynasty 15th century. High: 6.6cm and Body wide: 7.3cm

Description:

A bronze sitting Buddha was well cast by well rendered carving craftsmanship.
In very good metal material, the ancient bronze figure was coated with darken patina and reflected with retrospective sheen.
He was preserved in perfect condition only with some casting holes on the back.
He was well depicted in details and showed a grandeur look despite the small size.
An old collection wood box is accompanied.

This is a small Chinese celedon rimmed bowl Song Dynasty, with a lightly crackled pale olive glaze, having a flat everted rim and an unglazed footring, unmarked, in excellent condition, no chips, measuring Diameter 5 in, height 1 1/2 in 

Description: This white glazed stem cup was beautifully decorated with brownish black paint. Produced well at the Huozhou kiln of Shanxi province of China in the 13th-14th century, this ware was preserved perfectly. Huozhou kiln was one of the typical kilns which produced Cizhou wares since Northern Song dynasty(12TH Century). Golden celadon porcelain decorated with incised chrysantemum scroll on the interior, unglazed base.PERIOD : Yuan Dynasty (1279-1368 AD) MEASUREMENTS: 13.5 cm wide, 6 cm tall. CONDITION: excellent, no chips, cracks, hairlines and free from restotration.

Blue & White bowl, decorated outside with typical Yuan dynasty period Lotus and Fungus scroll, surrounded by lotus panels below. Inside with flaming pearl in the center and classic scroll around the inner rim. Yuan dynasty (1279-1368). Condition with double flake chips and restored, the result of restoration visible on the last enlargement 12, flake glaze to foot rim and no crack, still a good condition for Yuan bowl, collected in Central Sulawesi area. Diameter: 16.5 cm.

Longquan celadon cup with fluted sides under pale olive glaze, Song dynasty. Condition: Fine hairline, no chips further in good condition. Diameter: 8 cm, High: 4.5 cm.

A fine b/w bowl with well balance potted, decorated at the exterior with three Phoenix on flight among continuously chrysanthemum scrolls, interior center with a 'Vajra' design within double circle. Ming dynasty 15th century Interregnum period ware. Condition is very good, with no any chips, no cracks and free from restoration, just found minor crackle glaze to the body and base. Diameter approx 13.5 cm.

Fine LARGE Vietnamese 15th Century Blue & White Porcelain Dish (34 cm)

This impressive dish was made during the mid 15th century. It is "heavily-potted" and attractively decorated in underglaze cobalt of deep blue, the upper surface decorated with a central blossom surrounded by floral patterns, whilst the outer wall is decorated with lotus leaf patterns. The clear glaze is finely-crackled in places...

A Yuan dynasty bottle vase, decorated to the both sides body with incised phoenix on flight among clouds scroll and attached to the neck with pair of scroll handles. Condition with glue repaired to the one of the handle, tiny chip to rim and tilt. High: 14.2cm.

Description:

A black-glazed water pot was in strong Zen spirit.
By an elegant elm bowl’s shape, the pot was applied on the surface with black slip when bluish white splashes were decorated intriguingly on top across the mouth rim.
Unglazed at the bottom, the foot ring was flat and was revealed with the body clay which was in dark brown tint.

Description:

A crouching Bixie was carved from a pebble of black steatite.
Depicted with protruding eyes, back thrown ears and the broom-like tail, the fairy beast was treated by affluent and sleek carving lines.
An animated form was then vividly rendered. All these were the characteristics for the carvings from Yuan dynasty or earlier periods.
It was kept with very nice patina when some old defects were found. They were caused from the enduring age...

Large Chinese Yuan Dynasty Blue & White Jar with Oxford TL Test

Rarely offered for sale, this large early "blue & white" jar was made during the Yuan Dynasty (AD 1279 - 1368). It has a wide body as well as a wide mouth. Around the shoulder, painted in underglaze cobalt blue, are three stylised Dogs of Fo and beribboned spiralling objects. Below this the body is decorated with scrolling floral and leaf patterns with a band of large lotus leaves toward the base...

Chinese Song Dynasty Incised Qingbai / Celadon Porcelain Bowl

This bowl was made in the 12th Century during the Song Dynasty (AD 960 - 1279), a product of one of the kilns in Fujian province, probably the Tongan or Anqi kilns. It is fairly "heavily-potted" and coated in a yellowish-green qingbai type of glaze, save for the foot that remains unglazed showing the pale porcelaneous body...

Chinese Southern Song Dynasty Moulded Qingbai Porcelain Vase

This attractive pear-shaped vase was made during the Southern Song Dynasty (AD 1127 - 1279), most likely at one of the kilns in Fujian province. Interestingly it is made in several sections that have been luted together. The mid section is decorated with a scrolling lotus blossom pattern, below which is a repeating lotus leaf pattern. It is coated in a finely-crackled greenish-blue qingbai glaze that stops short of its foot...

An extremely rare blue & white bowl, decorated outside and inside with cabbages design. Late Ming Jiajing period and seal mark on the base. Condition is perfect except tiny chip to the inner foot rim and a bit firing flaw or kiln adhesive adhere inside the center. Diameter: 14.5 cm.

Description:

A Jiangyang Temmoko bowl was decorated with radiating russet splashes on the surface.
It was a rare type of this kind in Jiangyang wares.
Enduring old crackles were yielded naturally in the glaze when retrospective sheen was reflected on the surface.
It was used to be coated on the mouth rim with silver band. The silver band had long gone and only left with the residues around.
The bowl was kept in perfect condition without any restorations...

Rare Chinese Yuan Dynasty Burnished Black Pottery Meiping

We have recently been lucky enough to have acquired a collection of very rare examples of burnished black pottery items made during the Yuan Dynasty (AD 1279 - 1368). Such items are relatively unknown and very little has been published about them...

Blue & White bowl, decorated with a freely drawn scroll design, unglazed base. Ming dynasty 14th century, private kiln/Ming Yao ware. Diameter: 16 cm.

A bowl with very thinly potted and in flower shaped with fluted sides body, decorated to the center with incised flower scroll. Base white unglazed. Yuan dynasty Jindezhen ware, it is the finer manufactures of Chinese Qingpai ware, rarely to found considering to the excavated piece with very thinly wall cavetto and easy to damage, fortunate to founded just a triangle chip with associated hairline visible on enlargement 7, further in good condition. Diameter: 10.5cm.

Large Chinese Song / Yuan Dynasty Glazed Buddhist Jar

This large and impressive pottery jar was made around the 13th / 14th century, during the Song Dynasty (AD 960 - 1279) or the Yuan Dynasty (AD 1279 - 1368). Description: An elegant celadon water basin of Longquan kiln was molded in beautiful shape. Cutting plum flowers were stick around the upper portion of the basin and at the lower portion around the foot ring. Whitish incursions and burial earth were reserved on the glaze surface when obvious brownish firing effect was at the unglazed clay. Very rare wine vessel in the Meiping shape used by the boarded patrol. The inscription reads a kind of alcoholic beverage, most likely rice wine. The bottom has the inscription of the maker. Found in north western China. Size: 31.5cm. high. Age: Yuan - 1279-1368 AD. Condition: No repairs, two small chips around the spout and a small chip in the back. See photo 11. Looks worse on the photo then the actual chip.

A Song Dynasty Qing Bai jewelry or powder box. There a a couple of original flaws within the glaze and some small chipping to lower half rim. High resolution images on request.
