Beautiful sterling overlay cuff bracelet by Navajo Frances Jones, now in her 70's. This design is a variation on her classic track style cuff. Measuring 5 1/4" around in the inside plus an additional 1 1/4" opening, it is 1" wide and weighs 93 grams. It is in fine original condition and signed as shown. Bold and modern, it is comfortable to wear and a testament to balance in design.

A young Maiko parts the curtains of an Okiya Tea-house entrance, perhaps on her way to training, or to begin a night of traditional entertainment through song and dance. Pigment and ink on silk in a fine brocade border with lacquered red wooden rollers. It is 25 x 78 inches (63.5 x 198 cm). There is some loss to the gofun in the center where it was obviously folded once before being mounted in its current state.
Gorgeous Mediterranean coral stones in this sterling ring by Arizona Modernist H. Fred Skaggs. A unique look with the 4 stones being graduated in size. Precise, elegant, sterling and coral earrings by contemporary jeweler Richard Chavez from the San Felipe Pueblo. Active since 1976, he is a master stone cutter and inlayer and the winner of numerous awards. These earrings are from the estate of Martha "Marti" Hopkins Stuever, grande dame of the American Indian art world who passed away in September of 2017. This hand carved octagonal ashtray was designed by William Spratling c.1950's. The design is centered with a sterling silver bowl secured in place with bold silver rivets. Wisteria vines in gold and silver Maki-e lacquer decorate the natural body of this beautiful sake flask cut from a section of vine, hollowed and capped with natural wood and black lacquer, a pouring spout of brass bunged with bamboo.
