An attractive American Chippendale period slant front desk in yellow birch, with pine secondary wood. Circa 1775-1790. Size: 39.25 inches wide x 19.75 inches deep x 40.5 inches ht. The desk has four graduated drawers with molded lips, supported on an ogee bracket base. The fitted interior features a combination of pigeon holes and drawers arranged around a central prospect door, which conceals a hidden drawer. Probably of a New England origin. Carpet weight (Mir-I Farsh)in the shape of a muslim dome on a octogonal base. Bidar, Deccan metalwork, alloy in which zinc predominates. This beautiful chest features an unusual drawer configuration of three small drawers, over two side by side drawers, above five finely graduated drawers. Older replaced brasses. A fine 18th century Chinese molded celadon-glazed porcelain dish, finely decorated around the center with stylized archaistic dragons encircling a central roundel of a lotus flower, a band of key-fret pattern around the foliated rim, covered overall in green glazed. DATE : Qianlong (1736 - 1795). SIZE : D = 28 cm CONDITION : perfect condition, no chips, no cracks, no hairlines and no repairs.

A Blue and white large dish decorated with chrysantemum, plan and around the flattened edge with scrolling flower. Width = 36 cm. Kangxi (1662-1722). Condition : very good with one hairline and two small chips (see enlargement).

Porcelain decorated with three floral spray on the flattened rim and a floral spray on the center, glazed base. PERIOD : Qianlong (1735-1795) MEASUREMENTS: 24 cm wide. CONDITION: fritting to the rim, no cracks or hairlines and free from restorations. Good sound when tapping with finger tips.

Georgian sterling silver table spoon in the very scarce Onslow or Scroll pattern. London, c.1765, maker's mark rubbed. Size: 8 1/8 inches length. Bowl in excellent condition with no dings or wear to the tip of the bowl. A family armorial with a Baron's coronet is engraved on the reverse of the handle. The cast scroll finial is attached to the stem with a scarf joint as was the practice on genuine examples of the period in this pattern. Weight: 1.88 troy ounces...

Old English tablespoon by England's most famous female silversmith, Hester Bateman. London. 1780. Original owner's engraved monogram in feathered script, 'JMA.' Very good condition with no repairs. Egg-shaped bowl retains its shape. Bottom marked with some compressing of hallmarks but still very legible. HB maker's mark is quite clear. 8 inch length.

With a pewter interior and foot, this lac burgaute bowl is inlaid with multiple colored mother of pearl sections, including finely carved leaves, trees, landscape features, people, and architectural elements. Some of the mother of pearl sections are further incised with details, and there are areas where the mop is sprinkled to form a textured background...

A dish of raised barbed lotus form with a moulded ribbed cavetto decorated in underglaze blue with gilt outlined enamels dating to circa 1740-70. The unusual form of the dish follows Chinese “Ko Sometsuke” precedents of the first half of the 17th century; see “The Peony Pavillion” lot 220 for a Chinese example of the Chongzhen period.
