Measuring approximately 5 inches high, this very RARE, Japan-made, circa 1930’s pair of Black Butler and Mammy Salt and Peppers are in unused, mint condition, with just the lightest of glaze crazing visible. This highly appealing pair is considered rare as the Butler wears a green jacket versus the very common black jacket. Each is marked “Japan” on the base. Chinese late Ming (16th/17th century) Zhangzhou (Swatow) porcelain deep charger decorated in iron-red, green, and black overglaze enamels on a cream-colored crackle glaze ground with a central roundel holding flowering peonies. A band containing four floral panels against a crossed line ground extends around the circumference of the rim. 13" diameter x 2 3/4" high. Florentine Italian rococo style coffee table with marble top. Circa 1920s-40s. This coffee table has a green painted finish with carved and gilded shell and acanthus decorative motifs and supports a rectangular off-white marble top with light brown veining and molded edges. Size: 60 inches in length x 20 inches width x 15.5 inches height. Nice condition (no chips or cracks to the marble), some minor flaking to some of the green painted surface.
