A good detailed quality one was ever found in Indonesia, vividly painted and decorated outside with four differently character of horse riders on good surface glaze of Ming Hongzhi period (1488-1505). Condition is good, only one short light glaze hairline appear approx 1 cm and re-touched to the foot rim one firing flaw, further in good condition. Diameter: 14.5 cm and High: 6.5 cm

A very rare and unusual blue & white large dish in shallow dish form, decorated at the interior center with a winged flying fish on the waves within double circle, the cavetto wall with floral scroll and rim border with Tibetan characters. Exterior with four large bloom of continuously lotus flower which presume similar to the Ming Hongwu-Yongle design, base unglazed and firing to pale orange. Dating an early Ming pieces circa 1368-1435...

A smashing, HUGE, sterling repousse cuff by Italian designer Guglielmo Cini. Gorgeous swirling pattern, solid weight at 113 grams. It is in beautiful original condition and is c. 1940. Measures 2 5/8" wide and 5 3/4" around in the inside with a 1 1/4" opening so for a 7" wrist. Signed G. Cini Sterling. An absolutely stunning bracelet and just in time for the holidays!

A small Chinese blue and white porcelain dish. Foo Dogs with balls amongst clouds and flames decoration. The white glaze pooling to a pale celadon tone inside the rim and around the foot. A four character underglaze blue hall mark appears inside root rim. Acquired from Amos Judd and Son antiques on Howard Street in Baltimore in the early 90's. Reasonably good condition with some fritting to the rim but no cracks and a sure and clear resonance when tapped. Diameter approximately 5 inches (13 cm)

Of pale green glass, with handle and rim of blue-green, this jar, or ewer, is nicely formed, with flared neck and ribbon like handle. Measuring 6 3/8" high and 3 1/2" wide including handle, the vessel has interior mineral deposits, and iridescence on the surface. In good condition, with visible hairline below rim and under handle (the photo accentuates the hairline). Has paper tag with previous collection data, and was acquired pre 1970...

A large glass vase of emerald green reflecting the ancient glass works found in the Shosoin Imperial repository by 20th century pioneering glass artist Iwata Toshichi enclosed in the original signed wooden box. Flecks of various colors and air permeate the glass, accentuating the fact he is duplicating the ancient glass works, long before techniques had been perfected and material purified. It is quite large at 15-/2 inches (40 cm) tall and in excellent condition...

Japanese shin hanga woodblock print by Ito Yuhan (1882-1951) titled "Fuji from Taganoura" published by Nishinomiya Yosaku in the 1930's. Signed at the lower right corner of the image. Paper: 16 1/8" x 10 5/8" (image: 14 1/2" x 9 3/4"). The painterly effect in Ito Yuhan's woodblock prints are achieved through the elimination of black key block lines. Very good overall condition. The fabric was probably cut out from an old kasuri futon blanket and made into Yu-age. What is Yu-age? When I purchased this beautiful wall hanger like piece (I thought), I was told that this was Yu-age, an old fashioned sounding name to me. This is a bath towel according to the Japanese dictionary.
