A 10k cultured pearl and synthetic rubies ring from the 1940s-1950s. This vintage size 5-1/2 ring measures 1/2" x 13/8" across the setting which has a central pearl and a row of three small synthetic ruby stones. The ring is stamped SIFFARI 10K (Canada 1941-). It weighs 2.4 grams and it is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs...

Japanese Meiji period bronze model of a striped tiger standing on rockery preparing to attack a coiled striking snake. Square form Genryusai Seiya mark to base. Custom lacquered wood stand included. Circa 1890. Measures about 15”H x 16”L x 9 ½”D (excluding wood stand). Very good overall condition with excellent naturalistic detail and a nice dark brown patina. This bronze sculpture is from an old Scottsdale, Arizona collection.

A large screen depicting a samurai replete with the Jakumei crest of the Takeda Clan rearing his horse in a shout of battle, wand extended at arms length giving the order to charge. The horse appears to be fighting panic, possibly at the deafening sound of the guns of Oda Nobunaga, a sound which brought in the modern era of warfare to Japan in a pitched battle between Oda forces and those of Takeda Shingen...

Chinese late Ming dynasty crackle-glazed porcelain pear-shaped vase with bulbous base, waisted neck, and flaring mouth decorated with scattered underglaze blue cobalt butterflies and leafy fruited and flowering twigs. The white glaze has a faint gray hue with darker gray geyao-type crackles. The glazed base bears an underglaze blue square form "yu tang jei qi" mark (an excellent ware from the hall of jade). The mouth rim has a thin line of pale brown applied wash...

The Taller Far Fan made quality silver and the repousse on this bracelet is truly one of the finest I have seen. It does not surprise me that this early piece has the D.F. designation for Mexico City origin because the repousse is very Matl like. The weight is 63 grams heavy and the width is 1.25in. tall. The length is 7.5in. long. There are no chips to the stones or dents to the silver. It displays great dimension with the full repousse links...

A sterling silver nutmeg grater circa 1890s. It may actually be older. This American antique 1-3/4" x 1-3/8" egg shaped sterling grater has the original interior gilt rasp and interior gilding. Nutmeg was an expensive imported spice when first introduced to Europe and to North America, and it became enormously popular as a condiment...

An incredible ivory netsuke of a Hannya devil mask with inlayed eyes. The detail in the Faust like features is absolutely superb. In this case I will let the photographs speak for us. Although not contemporary, this Netsuke dates from the mid 20th century. Due to certain features, we believe it was made in China prior to or during World War II, during Japans occupation (1932-1945). The, inlay in the eyes is consistent with this interpretation and the ivory appears to be of Indian origin...
