Description: This ancient jade plaque with incursions caused probably by metal chemicals was kept well under earth for almost 3000 years. From the drilling holes on two ends, we can be sure that this plaque was used to be fastened with cloth or with identical jade plaques to form a funeral jade cloths for deceased people. Description: An old seal was made of nephrite white jade. Carved on the nob with motif of a crouching Chi-long, this jade was deliberately dyed black in part with traditional skills(Lao-ti-yuo) which was commonly used in Chinese old jades. With greasy slippery feel, this old jade was most likely being fastened under Chinese scholar's clothing and caressed within palms instead of being considered as a seal material...

Measuring 12 inches tall, this unusual, early 1920's, all-original, handmade cloth doll exudes tremendous personality, and even has a hand-inked name tag stitched to her right arm-- "Sallie"!

Constructed of cotton-stuffed, brown stockinette, Sallie's finely detailed, molded, hand-embroidered face is absolutely priceless! Her painted ceramic button eyes gazing off to her left make her come alive and draw one to her! Sallie's fuzzy, black, real-wool hair further authenticates her look!

A spectacular early 970 silver and moonstone necklace by Antonio Pineda. I believe this design of alternating silver leafs and moonstone clusters to be quite rare. The moonstones are beautiful, clear and blue and free of any chips or cracks. They are all original and none have been replaced. The necklace measures 15" or so.
