Impressive, having the distinct "ethnic" character that characterizes this genre of vintage Mexican jewelry, a set of articulated earrings by Rivera in emulation of Matilde Poulat's jeweled creations. A pear shaped small celadon vase, decorated with molded incised floral sprays and attached two ears to the shoulder, covered overall with rather dark green glaze like indicated on pictures. We are offering a very old hallmark of a rare Isidro Garcia Pina with his taller Maricela which was named after his daughter. The necklace is heavy at 103 grams and has a length of 17.25in. The center drop is 2 x 2.5 inches long and that includes the spinner. Some of the photos look like mixed metale but the necklace is solid silver and it is only glare. The piece is layered with great depth and dimension. No damage and a warm, natural patina...

The color of the stones is truly a glowing celadon green. These stones are of a much better quality than most often seen in older pieces. This early Matilde Poulat fish brooch with turquoise that has warmed with time displays repousse that is humorous in design. The size is 2.5in. x 2 1/8th inches so, it is not a tiny thing but quite substantial at 18.5 grams heavy. The pin is hallmarked with the early MATL in a block. A very special treasure and rarely seen.

Gorgeous Ella Cone sterling silver and lapis lazuli necklace, this is a piece that retains American Arts and Crafts influences and has the quality and design originality that characterize Cone's best pieces. I love the richness of the dark blue in the stones in juxtaposition to the warm glow of well-aged, well-loved silver. The necklace has a wearable length of 14 5/8" (actual length - always measuring the shortest strand - is 15 1/4" but I am leaving some allowance so you can clasp it)...
