Description: "Hundreds of monkeys" is only a description for the topic of this master piece. Amid the branches of a peach tree, a lot of monkeys are playing and teasing to each other. The exact numbers of these nimble animals had never been really counted. A deft open-work carving had been done in early 20th century China. Old black paint were faded due to age. A finely and rare covered box of circular form with a dome shaped cover and "Bird" figural handle. Decorated in underglaze iron-black with alternating vegetal and cross-hatching panels, with lobing highlighted in brown glaze. Buff stoneware body with a greenish transparent glaze stopping above the foot which is painted in iron-brown, unglazed base with a circular firing stand scar. Condition is excellent. 15th-16th century Sawankhalok ware. Diameter: 10.5 cm and High: 11 cm.

Description: A miniature porcelain figure was molded as Bu-dai Buddha with bare and protruding belly. With characteristic wide smile he was solid shaped as a porcelain toggle which was rarely seen. It was an excavation piece. The incursions were obvious within the pleats. The stand was newly custom made in a pattern of leaves troves. A rare blue & white bowl, with steeply rounded sides and flared rim, decorated with a ribboned Lotus bouquet enclosed within double-line medallion, a classic scroll encircling the rim. The exterior with a band of lotus petal lappets beneath a floral meander at the rim. 13th-14th century Yuan dynasty. Condition with four fine hairline, otherwise is perfect and free from restoration as well. Diameter: 16.5 cm.

Measuring approximately 5 inches high, this very RARE, Japan-made, circa 1930’s pair of Black Butler and Mammy Salt and Peppers are in unused, mint condition, with just the lightest of glaze crazing visible. This highly appealing pair is considered rare as the Butler wears a green jacket versus the very common black jacket. Each is marked “Japan” on the base. A very wonderful addition to the special Black Memorabilia collection!

Offered for sale is a lovely apothecary show globe that was originally offered to druggists in the 1960s – 1970s by Parke-Davis pharmacy salesmen. This 19.5 inch beauty sports a deep red decorated globe set upon a gold and black pedestal. The globe sports advertising on two sides of the base and the “Rx” on the globe.

The condition of the globe is very good with no damage to the plastic...

Offered for sale is a fabulous vintage porcelain advertising thermometer for EX-LAX laxatives.

This uncommon sign measures 36” long x 8” wide and is in near mint condition except for a few unobtrusive edge chips noted around the top and bottom edges (see photos). The lower section has a few minor scratches near the word “EX-LAX”.

This sign dates to the 1910-1920 era and has wonderful visual appeal as well as functioning as a thermometer...

This is a gorgeous three dimensional sterling bracelet with large cabachons of green agates by Horacio De La Parra. A very early piece, c.1940, it pre-dates the eagle mark. Measuring 6 1/2" around in the inside, it is 1 3/8" wide and weighs 66 grams. Fine original condition. Signed as shown. The pictures tell you everything.

Description: A bronze brush rest in a shape of a stag resting under a tree and a bird perching on the branches with scholar rock's view. It is an elegant piece with traditional Chinese atmosphere.
