Margot de Taxco vintage design 5337 is elegant with heavy repousse that also boasts it's simplicity. When you find one of these so many are very short. An amazing pattern of gold and silver maki-e decorates this lidded Tea Cup and stand dating from the later Edo period decorated with a samurai clan crest in gold. Assembled it is 7 inches (17.5 cm) tall, 6 inches (15.5 cm) diameter and in excellent condition, enclosed in a custom- fitted Kiri-wood box.

Today we feature Antonio Pineda's work with an older hallmark of Silver by Tono. Every link is a floral sculpture. The links are thick and 3 dimensional as they vine around the neck. The weight is 120 grams of almost pure silver. The wearable length is 16.5 in. This is my favorite period of his work as his designs are warmer and flow with great beauty. There is no damage to the silver or stones, just LOOK AT THAT NECKLACE!

Something this breath taking does not need much of a description. Designed by Margot Van Voorhies when married to Antonio Castillo. Together they began the Taller of Los Castillo. Design 475 has a wearable length of 17 inches plus a bit more which is fashioned from a leaf pattern. Repousse of quality, depth and natural patina while having a heavy weight of 96 grams of almost pure silver. No repairs or damage of any kind, just LOOK AT THAT NECKLACE!

A breathtaking cup made from an egg cut and lacquered inside, then gilded with genuine gold, enclosed in the original signed age darkened kiri-wood box. It is 2-1/4 inches (5.5 cm) diameter and in perfect condition, dating from the Meiji period.

We do not find this old hallmark of Martinez very often but when we do it is special. This is a rare one with amethyst stones and carved silver dangles with repousse beads. The over all length is 19in. with the chain and just the links are 16in. The height is 1 3/8ths inches making it a bold treasure. Martinez is known for his stone work and all of these amethyst match very well with some looking lighter depending on the direction of the camera flashes. No chips or damage to the silver or stone...
This pair of hand forged sterling silver butterfly or moth earrings were designed & signed in the 1940's by American & Taxco, Mexico designer William Spratling (1900-67). Each screw back earring measures 1" X 1". Beautiful condition & patina. Both signed on the reverse. Along with this earring design, Spratling created a brooch in 4 different sizes.
