An extraordinarily fine Victorian 14K yellow gold and enamel pocket watch chain in the Aesthetic style. The heavy chain comprises ribbed open links joined by doubly-interlocking textured open links. Near each end, the chain is set with a shell-motif bead accented with opaque black taille d’epargne enamel. The original t-bar is heavily decorated with acanthus leaves and geometric motifs typical of the Aesthetic era, all enhanced with enamel...

A gorgeous 18K yellow gold circle brooch surrounding a spray of diamond flowers tied with a golden ribbon. The brooch dates to the reign of Emperor Napoleon III. One flower is centered with a .39-carat rose cut diamond and the other two are set with .17-carat old mine-cut diamonds. The remaining 31 diamonds in the brooch are a mix of rose-cuts, old mine-cuts and single-cuts. The stones are of particularly good quality for the period, with bright color and excellent clarity...
A wonderful Victorian equestrian pin in the form of a horseshoe nail enhanced with a cluster of small natural pearls, sapphires, and rubies. Nails were a popular motif in Victorian jewelry, and the red, white, and blue color scheme had momentary popularity around the time of the American centennial in 1876. This piece is a pin, but can easily be worn as a pendant suspended from a chain without alteration...

Here is a very Victorian brooch, featuring a cross, anchor, and heart, symbols of faith, hope and charity. The metal has very nice engraving. Unmarked, but made of a layer of gold on top of what looks like copper. The center of the heart is set with a seed pearl, possibly faux, and the cross is set with 11 tiny turquoise-colored cabs – they are too tiny for us to make a definite ID. It measures 1-3/16 x 7/8". The gold shows wear here and there, and it has a nice patina...
A very pretty pair of Shakudo earrings in the form of partially folded fans. The dark metal surfaces are delicately enhanced with silver cranes amid gold plum blossoms, rocks and tree stumps. The crane was used in Japanese art to symbolize longevity. The fans are suspended from 18K rose gold wires. After the collapse of the feudal system in Japan, the artists who created elaborately decorated swords turned to jewelry as a way to express their creativity...
Antique English Victorian long necklace with a watch clip in 9 karat gold. Late 19th century. The clip was used to hold items such as lorgnettes and watches, or to thread through a muff so it could be worn around the neck, falling at or below the waist.
Marked A.C.C. 9CT on the clasp and also marked 9CT on a cartouche at the top of the chain. The hinge of the clasp is brass, shown on both sides in photos. The
rest of the clasp and chain is 9 karat gold...
A gold piqué tortoise comb, flower garlands inlay, late 19th century. Width "3 ½ / 9 cm. Condition: fine.
This indescribable set dates to about 1870 and is in amazing condition. It is crafted of 18k yellow gold frames and backings with enamel accents. The centerpieces are depictions of birds crafted of actual bird feathers and set behind what is most likely a piece of rock crystal. They are truly little pieces of art! All three of the birds are different and there is no damage to be found anywhere...

A fine 10k coral cameo with seed pearls pendant pin circa 1900...
This elegant stickpin features a stylized flower design, based on a Japanese family crest. It is marked “k20” on the back, and tests as a very strong 20kt, so it might be finer. The flower head measures 1/2 x 7/8”, and the whole pin is 2-1/2” long. It weighs 2.4g. The pin is a little bent, not surprisingly given the high gold content (please see photos), and course that can’t be seen when it’s worn, and could easily be straightened. Otherwise in excellent condition, and circa 1900. J...
An early Victorian 14K yellow gold locket enhanced with a pretty design of painted enamel roses and taille d'epargne tracery. The exposed gold surfaces are further decorated with engraving. Sterling over 18K diamond floral spray brooch from the mid-19th C. This lovely three dimensional brooch has a prong set Old Mine Cut center stone and numerous rose cut diamonds of varying sizes throughout. Brooch measures 2 3/8" long and 3/4" wide (at widest). This classic jewel consists of a circle of gold, enameled in cobalt blue, with gold highlights. A 3-looped bow is interlaced through it, decorated with tiny seed pearls, as are the bail and dropper. There are a couple very minor flaws in the enamel - invisible without magnification. It is stamped for 15kt gold, and the gold has that lovely rich color we rarely see these days. There is a place on the back where it looks as though someone made a repair, but of course it’s not visible when worn. ...
A wonderful Imperial Russian witch's heart brooch and pendant worked in silver-topped 14K gold and set with 78 rose cut diamonds and a heart-shaped garnet. Interestingly, the garnet is not cut in a standard heart shape, but in a slightly curved fashion that echoes the overall shape of the pin. The heart is topped with a ribbon motif. In Victorian jewelry symbolism, the witch's heart conveyed the meaning, "Bewitched by love." The brooch is Russian, but the pinstem and clasp were replaced arou...
A Victorian Edwardian green tourmaline, red spinel and pearls gold plated pendant on chain necklace circa 1890-1900. Sections are divided with gold strips and the two halves of this locket-style pendant are soldered together (it doesn't open). It is rose gold plate...
