A Georgian 14k glass emerald and diamonds ring circa 1780-1800. Lovely GEORGIAN inscribed gold mourning brooch with pearls, black enamel, and braided hair covered by crystal. This strikingly beautiful pin is an interesting mixture of the Art Nouveau and Victorian styles. The Victorians loved to use real insects in jewelry. A 14K blue topaz and amethyst hoop design pair of earrings circa 1970s. These vintage yellow gold pierced hoops are set with genuine blue topaz and amethyst gem stones. Each vintage double hoop earring measures 1-1/2" diameter and 1/8" thick. They weigh 8.1 grams. They are stamped 14K on the ear wire (too small to photograph). A pretty late Georgian example of a Halley’s Comet pin worked in 14K (perhaps 15K) yellow gold and featuring a light blue paste stone to represent the comet’s nucleus. The paste is set in an elegant buttercup-type setting accented with an engraved gallery. Blue paste is less common than other colors, and makes a very nice presentation. The comet’s tail depicted in the engraved and voluted gold setting.

A much understated tailored design is this estate diamond band from the 1970-s. The 14Kt yellow gold band is topped by five G color brilliant cut diamonds with the total weight of 0.26Ct. The diamonds are set individually in an S design channel. The weight and color of diamonds are clearly marked inside the band. The band is a size 6 ¾ and can easily be sized.

This unusually large bloodstone enhanced by 14Kt gold is an early 20th century watch fob / pendant. The bloodstone that turns on a gold rod, measures 23 X 23 X12 millimeters and with the gold findings creates a bag like pendant.

A very nice 32nd Degree Masonic fob in the form of a double-headed eagle. The bird grasps a platinum saber in its talons. The heads are crowned with a triangular emblem with enameled decoration, which then leads to a short fob chain and a buttonhole bar. The triangular emblem is hinged so that the eagle always hangs nicely. The detailing of the bird’s feathers, the hilt of the sword, etc. is superb. The bale is stamped 14K and bears the hallmarks of J.J. Sommer & Co.
