Elegant and rarely seen 940 silver bracelet by Hector Aguilar. It measures approximately 7 1/4" end to end. Hard to be exact since it is curved and the safety chain is attached. This mid-century pin is the work of Los Castillo. It's a striking modernist design which is composed of two pieces connected with a rivet. The bottom hands and body swings freely with movement. Hand-wrought with intricate detail.

Dramatic large hand made sterling Mayan face/headdress pin by LOS CASTILLO, Mexico, 1942. Measures 3 1/4" by 2 1/4" and signed "LOS CASTILLO TAXCO STERLING MADE IN MEXICO 530". This pin has a barette-type of closure. However, the points are very sharp so is not a barette but rather an alternate type of pin closure. This can be easily changed to a more typical kind of closure. Pin is in excellent condition and wonderful........$15 for insured US shipping.

These Margot de Taxco necklaces with a large drop are getting very difficult to find. The drop has a stone 1 in. in diameter and the wearable length is a comfortable 17 in. long. The drop is 2.25 in. long and 2 in. across. No chips or cracks to the stone and no striations that come to the surface. A hefty weight of 74 grams reflect the quality of this treasure. One of Margot Van Voorhies best just, LOOK AT THAT NECKLACE!

This stunning bracelet by the famous Antonio Pineda showcases his remarkable design skill and quality craftmanship. Circa 1930's to early 40's, this is a crazy killer gorgeous ring and ultimate statement piece from Fred Davis. The amethyst measures 1 3/16" x 15/16, and it is huge. Silver tests out to be just over 97% purity. Quite substantial at a weighty 22.8 grams. Measures a size 7.5 on a ring sizer. Signed and hallmarked with the conjoined FD, Silver, and Made in Mexico. It's in excellent vintage condition. Has never been sized.

This stunning bracelet by Felipe Martinez has the most gorgeous Azur-Malachite stones in vivid shades of blue and green set in thick sculped links. Measures 6 5/8" long by 1" wide and weighs 76.7 grams. Hallmarked "Piedra y Plata, Martinez, Sterling, Taxco, 175" and the eagle 3. No damage noted, it has a secure clasp and attached safety chain. Martinez was known for his superb lapidary skills and this beautiful bracelet is a wonderful example of his work.

Bearing the signature of Pedro Castillo who opened his own workshop in 1940, after having worked for both William Spratling and Hector Aguilar this early Taxco modernist necklace is made using the overlay technique which has also been enhanced by purposeful oxidation. Perfectly finished, it has generous weight and at just a hair less than 16", it is not only a gorgeous piece to wear but it is quite comfortable...

Composed of delicate, sectional curved bars with ring links. Each piece bears the unidentified maker’s mark of GHS and the sterling mark and Mexico marks; the necklace also has what looks like an eagle 3 mark. Both pieces have secure hook and ring clasps. The necklace is 18 ½ inches long; the bracelet measures 7 ¼ inches long. Weights: necklace, 24.6 grams; bracelet, 10.1 grams

Made in Mexico Silver necklace of fine workmanship having origins from Mexico City boasting great style. The repousse is with no dents and the fine S links lead off from the lengthy drop. The length is 18 inches but you can hook into a smaller length with the original spring ring. The amethysts are without damage as well. The center piece is approximately 3 inches across and 1.5 inches tall with 67 grams of thick repousse.

This lovely, sterling silver, Mexican, well-crafted bracelet displays a very colorful, large, faux fire opal on each ornate link. It is 6 3/4" long. Each link measures approximately 1 1/8" x 1". It is sterling silver and marked on the clasp: STERLING MEXICO 925, and, in a circle on the back of one of the links: TAXCO HECHO EN MEXICO with the "spread eagle" assay mark in the middle. Each link is slightly convex, adorned with a vivid, faux opal cabochon. It is in excellent condition.

Rare and magnificent 970 silver and amethyst bracelet by Taxco master silversmith Antonio Pineda. It is comprised of concave hinged silver links with a center rounded rod of amethyst. Featured on page 28 of the book SILVER MASTERS OF MEXICO by penny Morrill, this is the Hector Aguilar Fertility Bracelet with Dimpled Dots. It is in 940 silver and c.1940. One of his most well known designs, this bracelet measures 7 1/2" end to end, is 1" wide and weighs 102 grams. It has a pin closure. One of the dots in one of the domes is punched out. It is visible in the photo. I believe this is original to the making of the bracelet.Signed for Hector Aguilar as shown. A classic HA bracelet.
