This one piece sterling silver buckle would be stunning on a black velvet sash!
It was made by Unger Bros in the early 20th century. The ornamental design is a classic scroll and acanthus. The buckle is 4 1/4" x 2 1/2". Marks are 925 (sterling) and the Unger Bros markIt is in excellent condition.
This sterling silver belt buckle by renown modernist Ed Wiener exhibits a strong, clean design, crisply forged with a smooth panel of ebony set within a partial applied frame. The back has a well-soldered rectangular loop and prong with no signs of repair; it bears Ed Wiener's mark and the mark for sterling. There is a nicely aged patina, with random spots of oxidation, and a roughly half-inch shallow incision of unknown origin on the surface (best seen in first and last photos)...
A large sterling silver locket from the Aesthetic Period, the cover decorated with an engraved Japonaiserie scene of a water bird landing among reeds. The bird is surrounded by a fan-shaped reserve. The ends of the locket are nicely enhanced with beading and a fancy border. The interior retains both original frames and glass enclosing either fabric. The back is unadorned. This locket is unmarked, indicating an American origin...
Beautiful sterling silver bracelet signed by Los Castillo circa 1950's. Weight 90 grams, 3.01 oz. 2 repousse curved fern frond silver leafs connected by a tight spring hinge are used to form a bracelet 3 1/2" wide at the front tapering to 1 1/8" at the back. The inner circumference of the bracelet when closed measures 6 1/2" but expands to fit a larger wrist or arm. This design can probably be attributed to Margot de Taxco during the time that she was married to Antonio Castillo...

A wonderful vintage large copper and brass pendant depicting an acrobat by Ex-pat Ken Beldin, who lived in Tenencingo, Mexico and made jewelry and sculptures from 1940 through the 1960s. Suspended from leather cords.
The pendant measures 4" across and 3" tall. Has blue and green crushed stone inlay in the body and the small ball he is jumping over...

An interesting pair of sculptural mixed metals pierced earrings by the New York jeweler, Marci Zelmanoff.
These earrings have sterling wire details and sterling shepherd ear wires. Measure 2" long and 5/8" at the widest.
Both earrings are signed Marci Zelmanoff and with some sort of code which looks like 02-Z64. Hard to read.
They are in fine condition. Her pieces are quite rare.

A vintage modernist brooch with a thick etched sterling rhombus over another open layer by Anna Greta Eker for Norway Designs Studio Plus. Haven't found another example of this brooch.
Measures 2 3/4" long and 2" high. Has a rollover clasp that closes securely. Marked with the stylized ND for Norway Designs Plus Studio, 925S, and A G EKER in script.
Has a little tarnish and some scratches. Some may be able to be buffed out but not where the etching is...
Henning Koppel designed these modernist earrings for Georg Jensen, Denmark, c.1950's. They each measure 1 1/4" by 3/4" and are screwback style. Each is signed "GEORG JENSEN(in dotted oval) STERLING DENMARK 118" and are in excellent condition......
A vintage sterling silver hand wrought necklace and matching bracelet with light hammering and angled and curved links. Has connector links made from curved silver with orbs at the ends as seen on pieces by Jack Boyd.
Necklace measures at least 18" long but hard to measure exactly due to the curvature of the links. Signed Sterling. Has a spring closure marked sterling that holds securely.

Marked Salvador, Sterling, Mexico, and Design 165. Pre Eagle. Measures approximately 5 1/4" around, with a 1 1/4" opening and 7/8" at the widest. Made to fit snuggly. There is no give so can not be adjusted.
Has some tarnish, dents and scratches. It is a little bent. See photo.

The abstract and intricate design of this ring completely captures 1950s Modernist design. Stamped 585, which indicates 14K gold. However, I am unable to test this ring and am selling it as unknown material. It appears to be sterling, sterling plate, or white gold plate. The pearl appears to be cultured. Size 6.5.
