We are offering a signed Margot de Taxco bracelet design # 5240 that is big, bold and with great dimension. The heavy bracelet weighing 92 grams is a cornucopia of wings with a myriad of tiny bead work all around silver cabochons. Being 1.5 inches tall the width takes away from the wearable length so being 8in. long will fit most. The silver is butter soft and it is amazing that this bracelet is without flaws. There is glare but no dents. I have seen many with smashed caps...

A vintage Art Deco period sterling silver size 3-1/2 signet ring c1930s. This ring has texturing but no initials on the 7/16" x 5/16" ocval upper / front and it weighs 2.3 grams. Unique and audacious showpiece ring by Jens Asby of Copenhagen, Denmark, circa 1970s. The design is striking, as is all the work by this famed silversmith. The large, deep blue stone is held by an interesting bracket which is integral to the design. This open-ended sterling silver ring can be adjusted. These earrings are clipbacks. They display a beautiful design with large, pink, quartz cabochons. Their diameter is just over 3/4" and protrude 3/4". They are marked SILVER and have a Chinese hallmark. They are in excellent condition.

This Beautiful belt buckle is made entirely of Mid-Victorian Hand-Carved Whitby Jet. The Brooch is deeply carved with leaves and flower blooms – in great detail.

Today it is illegal to mine jet in Whitby because the only jet left is in seams in the walls of the cliffs over the town. To remove it from the cliffs would cause them to tumble down and destroy the town. The two remaining jet cutters today have to rely on pieces that wash up on the beaches of this seacoast town...

I don't use the term "rare" very often when presenting my jewelry yet in this case, I just had to! Because this specific version of one of my favorite designs, the multi-row repousse semi-spheres hinged bracelets usually adorned with turquoise cabs, is indeed very very difficult to come upon. What elevates the bracelet at hand above and beyond other similar examples is the sheer size of the repousse semi-spheres that make up its two "wings"...

Very large and heavy gauge 950 silver with brass accents buckle, probably from Japan, c.1970's. It is signed "T 950" and measures 2 3/4" by 2 3/4" by 1/8" thick. Extremely heavy, it weighs 120 grams or 4 troy oz. Probably Japanese because the 950 silver content is used there. Hand hammered with brass applied corners, it really makes a major statement. These quirky figural sterling silver pins and earrings are formed as separate head. The early hallmarks on this brooch date 1940-1945. This pin was designed by Valentin Vidaurreta. Shown with onyx stones on p.79, II-12 in "Silver Masters of Mexico", also noted in this book is that Vidaurreta produced work both in his own workshop and at the Taller Borda, and that the pieces sold at Taller Borda were marked with the HA mark until the 1950's. This pin / brooch displays Spratling's brilliant work and his original fish design. It is rare to find this design signed by Spatling. It measures just over 1" x just over 1". The back is marked with Spratling's maker's mark and 925. It is in excellent condition, c. 1950's.

Plateria Cecilia has produced a very nice rendition of Mexico City folk work. The stones are warmed teal turquoise, dark red coral which looks Mediteranian and an amethyst that is jelly clear purple.
