I am thrilled to have stumbled upon this amazing, quintessentially Deco and quite rare Mexican silver and stone ring! Though this piece is not signed for maker, the design is a known Fred Davis creation and as I have recently noted in one of my descriptions, Davis was never as adamant as Spratling was in hallmarking all jewelry coming out of his workshop. So out there, there are many Davis creations that are simply not marked fully and I believe this beauty might easily be one of them...

These fine, vintage / antique cufflinks are "chain links." They consist of inlaid jasper, bloodstone and agate in sterling silver. They are hallmarked J.C & S (for Joseph Cook & Sons). This is an exquisite piece, c. 1910. It is made of 830 vermeil. The filigree-bordered circles suspend 3 blue enamel flowers with white centers. The filigree design between the circs have a similar dangle with a central, white cab. This spectacular brooch measures 1 1/2" across (1 3/4" w/ extended pin). It measures 2 5/8" from top to bottom. The back is marked 830 with a maker's mark I cannot make out.
