I acquired this Georg Jensen silver repousse bracelet years ago but waited for a long time to present it in the store - I was tempted to keep it and would have done so but for its length. This is Jensen’s des. no 3 and when it came to me it was accompanied by its matching necklace (sold earlier this month). A closer study of the hallmarks, however, indicates that the bracelet is earlier than its companion, pre-1945, in fact, if I am not mistaken...

A modernist sterling silver hand wrought cuff bracelet and/or spiral triangular earrings by Lore Garrick, (1920-2013). Lore Garrick made hand crafted jewelry in NYC in the 1950s. This stunner tests as a very strong 14kt, so it’s very likely to a 15kt English piece. It is set with what we are pretty sure is an iolite (hard to test because of the setting), and 4 pear-shaped purple garnets, all foiled, all set within an Etruscan Revival motif of coiling snake-like decorated gold ropes and leaves, with two dangling gold chains. The brooch measures 1-1/2 x 1-1/2 x 3/4" deep and weighs 8.7g. With the chains, the whole piece measures 2-1/2” long...

This unusual brooch features poppies with lovely curving, flowing lines, mounted on an oval of mother-of-pearl. Poppies symbolize sleep (Dorothy in the field of poppies, on her way to Oz), rest, and eternal life. Marked on the back Hecho en Mexico 925 D. F. around FarFan.

The bracelet measures about 7 1/2" long and 1 1/4" wide. Has a box clasp that snaps securely. Has some tarnish. The bracelet has a few links that are slightly bent. Not really noticeable when worn. Heavy and well constructed. Weighs a total of about 61 gr. Pre eagle, (pre 1948).

A vintage sterling silver large pendant on a silver neck ring. Has a central prong set rough brown and green swirled slab. Not sure what the stone is. Signed on the back with a stylized MLewis, Sterling and a mushroom hallmark. We have not been able to identify the artist.

This elegant pin/pendant consists of an oval of onyx in a sterling frame. The bail tests as 14kt, the pin stem tests as 10k yellow gold. In the center are inlaid gold stars, and along the periphery are inlaid flowers, most likely platinum. The frame is decorated with a silver twist, and a floral motif. A vintage hand wrought Sterling Silver necklace and matching pierced earrings in a floral design by the noted Arts and Crafts silversmith, Madeleine Turner. This intriguing (and slightly strange!) pair of pins is from the Art Nouveau era. They feature a woman’s face flanked by flowers, and her hair is greenish – just a little scary!
