This is a Straits Nyonya silver plate or silver bantal/pillow end , silver repousse work to ornament the wedding pillow or wedding ceremonial ornaments for the Straits Chinese and Malays here, the pair is not in very fine state with some repairs and with wear/tear signs, it is more than 70 yrs old and older. This is an old silver wrapped buckle with Jakut a kind of stone which is similar to crude diamond stone(intan), used by the indonesian ethnic group, good condition except scratches and some stone drop off, please inquire and ask for more photos....

This old vintage brass pendant has a seated Buddha detailed on the front with good stone work. The back of the pendant depicts a double has dorjie. Measured on the diagonals...2.5 inches x 2.75 inches.

Antique Peranakan or Straits Chinese silver belt, probably early 20th century. With its Aceh style Phoenix bird theme this belt was traditionally used by ladies at weddings and other festivities. The buckle – now missing but easily replaced by a matching textile ribbon - would have held a larger version of the Phoenix motif. With diffuse marks but tested for a silver content of 500/1000. Weight 143 grams. Length "14 ½ / 74 and width "1 ¾ / 4.5 cm. Condition: fine.

Large by Western standards, this is actually the "childs" size version of this foo dog necklace worn by the Chinese Miao minority 70-90 years ago. Made of low grade silver, typical of Chinese jewelry of the time period, the intricate pendant is 5.5 inches across, 6.5 inches long and suspended from a long hand-made chain. The heads of the foo dogs are in a pin which allows them to turn freely and the central "flower" is also suspended on a wire which allows it to spin...
