A superb 6.42 carat natural star ruby set into a late Retro 18K yellow and white gold mounting. The ruby is color-graded as medium-dark, moderately strong purple-red (R/P 6/4). The ruby has fine clarity, without eye-visible inclusions. The cut has excellent symmetry and a high dome, resulting in a well-centered bright star with straight, evenly spaced, long rays. An extremely rare and very fine Imperial Russian gold and diamond anchor brooch by Viktor (Victor) Aarne. The anchor is surmounted with the Imperial Russian crown and the cypher of Czar Nicholas II is superimposed over the stem of the anchor. The brooch is set throughout with old mine and rose cut diamonds. The diamonds are set in silver over gold, as was typical of Russian jewels of the period. The quality of piercing and millgraining indicate hand fabrication...

Renaissance 22 Carat signet ring with a deeply carved intaglio puzzle in the form of a pictogram which uses pictures and letters to spell out words that convey its meaning. The rebus reads "Love You" with the heart symbolizing love and the V (based off the old Latin alphabet) for the letter U, representing the vowel U which represents "You". The ring is unmarked and a size 6 and in excellent condition.

Beautiful hand made 10k gold pin with floral art nouveau design, c. 1910. It is constructed of a flat background gold layer on top of which is a second hand cut layer. This second layer provides a very beautiful art nouveau floral design with an inscribed name "Elizabeth C.Robinson". The back has another inscription which says "VISITATION CONTENT ST. PAUL JUNE 3,1920" and "10K". There are two tiny holes at the top left and right, which can accept a chain, so can be worn as a necklace...

This very stylish shell cameo set in a 14Kt white gold filigree frame, dates back to the 1920-s. The 33 X 45 millimeter oval cameo depicts a bust of a lady with a diamond and emerald earring. The broach is extremely versatile since a fold down swivel type bail makes it wearable as a pendant as well.

A 9K carnelian & bloodstone spinning or rotating watch fob with carnelian on one side and a bloodstone on the reverse, fully hallmarked for Chester, England 1919-20. A fine example of a French-Flemish croix papillon (butterfly cross) from the northern region of France around Calais. Jewelry scholars believe these were actually made in Belgium (a French region at the time) where they were known as “croix à la Jeannette” (Jeanette crosses). They were popular across the French regions of Picardie and Pas-de-Calais and into Normandie. A nice example of an openwork diamond cluster ring is this 14Kt two tone beauty. The 14Kt yellow gold shank and base holds the 13 millimeter diameter 14K white gold cluster that is set with one brilliant-cut and eight single-cut diamonds. The approximate total weight of all diamonds is 0.25Ct. The ring is a size 6 and can easily be sized.

A stunning Georgian 18K gold textured chain necklace suspending a graduated series of nineteen carved hardstone hearts. The colorful stones include lapis lazuli, moonstone, opal, carnelian, moss agate, porphyry, chrysoprase, banded agate, jasper and more. Stones such as these would have been mined in many different parts of the globe, and wearing a necklace of such "specimens" would have indicated wealth as well as a certain curiosity and intelligence about the world...

This fine belt buckle measures 1 3/4" x 1 1/4". The top portion is 14K gold and the rest is sterling silver. It is slightly convex. I was unable to get a good picture of the top, because of a lighting reflection. It is marked 14K and STERLING with the CROSS maker's mark. It has good heft and is in excellent condition.

An elegant pair of 18K yellow gold earrings with mother-of-pearl inlay by Angela Cummings. The designer pioneered modern hardstone mosaic techniques when she was still lead designer at Tiffany & Co. After establishing her own luxury boutique, she continued to make similar designs under her own name. The earrings are marked “Cummings 18K”.
