A striking Modernist take on a traditional 18K gold floral brooch. The stark thorn-like arrangement, enhanced with Akoya pearls, has an almost brutalist style. A vintage Cartier “Trinity” pendant worked in 18K yellow, white and rose gold. Unlike the contemporary “Trinity” pendants that are essentially miniaturized versions of Cartier’s “Trinity” or rolling rings, this pendant is fashioned as a large yellow gold disc enhanced with tri-color gold “Trinity” rings. A very fine Victorian tortoise shell pin inlaid with gold and silver in a floral and butterfly pattern. The design is beautifully executed and is a bit more ornate than much piqué work. The inlaid metals are engraved to add even more depth to the design. The tortoise is nicely translucent when held to strong light. The back retains the original pinstem, but the clasp is a replacement.

This very stylish shell cameo set in a 14Kt white gold filigree frame, dates back to the 1920-s. The 33 X 45 millimeter oval cameo depicts a bust of a lady with a diamond and emerald earring. The broach is extremely versatile since a fold down swivel type bail makes it wearable as a pendant as well.

A very fine Retro Moderne brooch in the form of a three-leaf clover, each leaf fashioned from an heart-shaped aquamarine, and centered with a pearl. The aquamarines are simply framed in gold collet settings with halo wirework accented with beading. The stones, 1.33 carats on either side and 1.87 carats at the top, have stunning pure blue coloring without a hint of gray. A particularly nice Art Nouveau 14K yellow gold brooch in the form of a floral spray. The strap-like leaves are worked in shaded green enamels, and the flowers are made from freshwater "dogtooth" pearls centered with old mine cut diamonds. The pearls have particularly attractive silvery luster and their irregular shapes beautifully mimic the frilly edges of flower petals. The back retains the original pinstem and clasp. A 14Kt yellow gold stylish broach, that is a life-like rendering of a flying Tropicbird. The broach measures 2 5/16” wide and 2 5/16”, high as well.

Elegant vintage 14Kt gold and diamond openwork ring decorated by ten full-cut diamonds. The approximate total weight of the ten diamonds is 0.35Ct. The width of the top of the ring is 10mm and it is size 6 ½ but it can easily be sized.

An 18k diamonds and cornflower sapphires row ring circa 1890. This Victorian period size 6 ring is 18k yellow gold, with genuine natural sapphires and antique sut diamonds. It measures 3/4" x 3/16" across the setting, the two diamonds measure approximately 10 points each by gauge, and the cornflower blue sapphires measure approximately 6 points each (side) and 12 points (central). All the precious stones are represented in this very stylish 14Kt yellow gold bow pin. There are five rubies, five emeralds, five sapphires and ten diamonds dispersed throughout the broach. The approximate total weight of all stones is 0.85Ct. The height and the width of the broach is 1 1/8”.

An unusual 14Kt yellow gold and jade ring is this large dome consisting of green and butterscotch jade pieces. The center has a yin-yang design that is surrounded by eight pear shaped stones. The top of the ring is a 1” by 1 1/8” oval. The ring is a size 6 ½ and can easily be sized.

A delicate trace link gold chain with faceted synthetic amethysts and freshwater pearls. The four stones are collet-set with open back. There is a slight blemish on the table of one amethyst and the chain may have been shortened. The pearls are not perfectly matched and show light wear. Marked 15c on the spring clasp. Both chain and settings are guaranteed gold. Length 22" ~ weight 6.8 grams.

This 1960-s 14Kt white gold open heart necklace is 17” long. The 14Kt white gold heart is prong set with 16 full cut diamonds with the approximate total weight of 0.50Ct. The hart measures ¾” wide and 15/16” high including the rabbit ear bail.

Vintage , custom made 14k yellow gold and diamond earrings by Arizona jeweler Carlos Diaz. These are old European cut diamonds with a total weight of approximately 1/2 carat. They measure 1/2" diameter each and are clip backs that could easily be converted to posts if wanted. Total weight of earrings is 5.2 grams. Signed "By Carlos Diaz 14k". Very Elegant !

A large stylized hibiscus centers this Retro 14K rose and yellow gold pendant necklace. The blossom is set at the center with a round amethyst and is flanked on either side by a pair of small rubies (typical of the period). The bold shape and color contrast make this brooch-to-necklace a most attractive and wearable piece of jewelry. The reverse is stamped 14K and has the maker’s mark for A. J. Hedges.

This is an amazingly modern-looking Art Nouveau necklace. A total of seven garnets, two round, two oval, two square, and one teardrop, are mounted in 14 k gold. The square and teardrop garnets depend from the round stones and add movement to the design. The central dropper is studded with tiny seed pearls. The necklace is 15”long and the piece is unmarked. It dates from 1900-1920 and is a true antique beauty.
